Do you mean the Unity denomination? It is a liberal denomination within Christianity, and was founded in the 1800s by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. It is considered to be one of the "New Thought" churches. It values affirmations, and its "Silent Unity" prayer program has run for a very long time. Its longer name was The Unity School of Christianity, although most people now just call it Unity, or the Unity Church. They are very inclusive, and have both male and female clergy. Although I am a longtime member of another denomination, I have a number of friends who attend the local Unity church, and I'll occasionally attend programs and services there.

Being like minded; of one accord; bound together by a common goal or issue.....
We can be united in thought, in purpose, or in experience. Unity is largely subjective. I can have unity of purpose with someone, but not unity of philosophy and still accomplish my goal. Unity is a coming together, regardless of the catalyst.
