Basically the question not only demonstrates any lack of evidence for god but also highlights the lack of any miracles. There havent been any!!
No one gets god from a walk in the woods and jesus appears unto them and they have a chat and the guy comes around. No muhammed miracles either.
Any product of Abrahams psychotic break with reality is seriously flawed.

Raised in a christian family. But, never really knew anything about God.

I was faced with a certain situation, where the only thing I could do was turn to God. And when I did, not only did the situation change, i found all aspects of my life transformed. There was no looking back since then. It's been 2 years now.

When I was at the end of my rope and my life was coming close to a crashing halt, someone asked if he could pray for me.

I didn't believe any of that. I thought it all nonsense, and I believed that he was "praying" to a man 2,000 years dead.

But I said OK, and he prayed, and God intervened.

He changed my life, forgave me for all my sins, gave me a new heart, new hope, and a new reason for living again.

Brian didn't exactly TALK to me about God or Jesus, he really talked to God about ME, and asked God to reveal Himself to me.

When I recovered from the shock of God's initial revelation that He exists and that Jesus really IS His Son, I finally said "OK", and the moment I DID, His power began flooding through me and confirming beyond any shadow of a doubt that He IS real.

No, no "burning bush", but I guess you COULD say it was, in a way, a "burning bush" experience, because I was confronted with both God's power, as well as His authority.

I found out from Grandma when I was real little and then my mom when I got older and I just grew up with God in my life but Jesus Christ was something that I accepted when I turned 8 years old and was old enough to understand the concept of his love. I prayed and I was comforted and I prayed and was delivered from some pretty harsh stuff happening around me. I knew then that God was real and that Jesus was the savior. Could go longer and more in depth but in short that is what happened.

Yes, I saw a burning bush in the front yard about..4AM, and I chatted with it until the fire department arrived. For some reason, they put me on a 48 hour watch at the local mental hospital. Not sure why. Oh, you said something about God? Oh, no, I just like talking to burning bushes. Just kidding. I'm in a weird mood today.

I knew in my heart there was something more. I was convinced there was a power at work in the universe. This all happened at random? I couldn't believe in this. I felt there had to be a mover and a shaker behind the scenes. So, I followed my heart and mind , and my studies on God began. I have never regretted it one iota.

Both my parents were atheists as was I.
I used to have raging debates with a Christian in college. Kind of like Lee Stroebel, I decided to bury this guy with science, reason and logic - but in effect I found the reality of God the Creator and Jesus Christ.

Went to a "Heaven and Hell's Gate" play.

He started working on my heart while I was sitting there.

Probably would be more to the story to share, but that's for another time.

I knew there was more to life and started seeking. I could tell over a period of years who really were trying to help and who were helpless drones.
Ask God yourself, He'll send you someone to lead you. He did me.
He loves you and wants you to know Him.

My Granny taught me about God. About his power and his wisdom and his love and his grace. It's a wonderful thing.
