Anyone who has tried to excel at golf would know that it does take athleticism to play consistently. Hitting a golf ball is a very difficult thing to do. So, I would say that yes, golfers are athletes.

yes. we have to work on the mental game, and the game itself.

it looks easy--but it really isnt.

real golfers also have to walk the course--something not very many people do. and of course they're real athletes--golf is a sport in school =]

Arun I am 52 years old a walk 18 hole twice a week I have a wife four adult children send them to CATHOLIC SCHOOL so can't I allow to be athletes

-Real golfing is walking the course-and that requires an athlete
-Riding in a cart may be convenient(and i ride in a cart sometimes) but all you have to do is drive to ur ball, hit it, drive to the ball again.
