The craziest one I have heard deals with Kingdom Halls and windows.
One sister was told by her mother the reason Kingdom Halls don't have windows is because, during the meetings, we is naked!
Such strange ideas, such strange minds!

I had heard a few years ago that a congregation out in California was disbanded because the elders were running a prostitution ring with the sisters! Not only is that crazy, it's not true! A man (not a JW) was running a prostitution operation but when police were investigating him, he changed his website to a Jehovah's Witness site. It was originally called "Charlizeangels".lol

That they built a house in San Diego and deeded it to Abraham and David, and other prophets of the Bible, because they were so confident in their belief that they would soon be resurrected and need a place to live. This was about 1930..
The really crazy part is that it turned out to be true! It's a mansion called Beth-Sarim which means House of the Princes, and there's information and pictures on various internet websites.
The craziest thing I heard, that ISN'T true is that they protect child molesters. Anyone who knows much about them knows that isn't true, even though their policies aren't the best.

That they have predicted the end of the world as we know it over and over.
Can you believe that?
No self respecting Christian would do that!
oh - I found the site!?
Their most notable dates (which usually were followed by promises never to date-set again) include 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975 and 1989. When the 1914 date failed, rather than acknowledge it as a false prediction, they simply declared that Jesus had returned to the earth in invisible form. They continued setting Armageddon dates for future fulfillment.
and that they are:

A crazy thing I heard was, 'Oh, they're the people who don't believe in medicine.' Rubbish! It's blood transfusions they don't 'believe' in. Apart from that, they go to see their Doctors and Surgeons and Chiropracters and Homeopathists etc like everyone else. Mind you, I'm in two minds as to whether it's more crazy to refuse whole blood, or to allow assorted blood fractions just so long as they aren't all held together in the 'skin' that whole blood is in - a bit like separating cream from milk and saying you can have cream in a tub or fat-free milk in a pouch, but not both together in a milk bottle.

My grandmother and I were IN that faith, and let me tell you...I absolutly HATED it. They believe that the world will end soon, but nobody knows when, they don't tell you anything that can ACTUALLY HELP YOU IN REAL LIFE, and when I was younger, their beliefs scared the bejesus out of me. When I got grown, it turned out that my grandmother didn't really believe in it either; we were going for other reasons that I can't elaborate on. She and I, as former Witnesses, know that they are full of sh*t. When I heard the talks, I felt that what they were saying wasn't right, in my gut. But being a kid, how could I know?
You can't celebrate holidays
You can't celebrate YOUR OWN BIRTHDAY. My grandmother actually forgot her birthday and how old she was!
They are like an exclusive cult- "non-believers" need not apply.
They are very predjudiced against anyone else that is not a Witness.
If you are a Witness, you can only associate with Witnesses and no one else.
If you violate their tenets, you can get "disfellowshipped" from the congregation, basically being kicked out.
They are some of the biggest hypocrites. For example, one of my uncles, a JW, was one way in the church and another way at home. He abused and cheated on my aunt, and the elders looked the other way because he was an elder, too. He even got remarried- in the JW hall! They did not kick him out even with all those issues. Very hypocritical.

Here is one. My sister-in-law is a Jehovah Witness. She, if she is my sister-in-law, married my brother, who is a Christian.
Her family, especially her mother and grandmother HATE this fact and are always commenting and saying hurtful things to her and my brother in regards to this.
Her is the sinker, her mother's 2nd husband, of whom she is currently married to, is Catholic, which is a denomination of Christianity.
Also, presents on holidays and birthdays. Why is that you can not except a gift on the Holiday or Birthday, but you can the day after. Your still celebrating it, just a day later. Christmas dinner and Thanksgiving dinner. You don't celebrate that, yet it is okay to get together on that day and eat a special meal together but call it a family gathering. Whats in a word?
I haven't just HEARD this to be true, but have experienced it to be true.
There are plenty more, I could go on and on.

>>What is the craziest thing you have heard about Jehovah's Witnesses?<<
That they don't allow blood transfusions, and that they let their children die rather than allow them to have life-saving blood transfusions.
>>People say a lot of things about them that are not true<<
Is what I wrote true?

They don't observe Christmas or birthdays. That's not exactly a crazy thing. They save a lot of money on buying Christmas and birthday gifts.
Seriously now, they do not believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. Are they still waiting for the Messiah?
