think about how Helen Keller graduated from college with honors.
You cannot "see" God, but you sure can feel His tangible presence.

I was a Christian and a strong one. Then I read the Bible. And then I read again. And again, making hundreds of pages of notes and questions. Then I went to a clergyman, my clergyman and my dear friend, and asked him to explain all the contradictions and errors in the "word of God.' He tried, oh, how he tried! But I always had another question, another contradiction, another error that needed explaining. And in the end, none of made sense.
I am an atheist because MY EYES WERE OPENED.
BTW, n9wfff Helen Keller was born with sight and hearing. she lost those senses as the result of a childhood illness (probably scarlet fever) at almost two years old.

Zeus, God, Thor...all just names for a diving infinite being that we, homosapiens, caveman, neanderthals etc...have "experienced" in their presence through community or individual...the Druids (Celtic) were very spiritual and have performed interesting "things" in the pre-Christian era that were known to be far more advanced than their times...just an interesting tidbit

Accept for the fact that, unlike someone who is blind, I am capable of faith, spirituality, and "seeing the light". I simply choose not to. I am not spiritually blind, I simply prefer the shade, and avoid staring into the sun.

Denying God is choosing eternal death. Choose life today by accepting Christ as your personal Savior.

When you beleive in God aren't you just saying "I read a book and someone told me it was true?" I'm not saying it's a bad thing to have beleifs.. but pushing them on others or.. complaining about them is wrong.

Some people gave your god a fair chance and found out he was not real. So much for your clever analogy.

Only a believer can deny God. You have to believe in something to deny it, unless you're denying that it exists.
Hope this helps, I can see you're increasing in your understanding.

No. What's happening here is that you live inside a certain paradigm which limits your capacity to understand those who do not share your views.
