No Shedding Dog

It would probably shed, but maybe in bigger clumps. I used to have a Puli-Poo, half Puli (non-shedding dog) ad Poodle (non shedding dog) and she did shed a little, but instead of a lot of small hairs and dander, it was a few big clumps. However since Puli's natural state is to have it's hair basically in dreads, this combination needs a lot of brushing, because the poodle part prevents the cords from forming. Both breeds are hypoallergenic however, so if that's your concern, either breed or a cross is a good match. Puli's are Hungarian sheep dogs, so they like space and running around. they are also good for protecting their "flock" i.e. family. Poodles and poodle mixes make nice family dogs.

yes- all dogs shed-there is no such thing as a non shedding dog. Some dogs sheddings get caught in their fur requiring frequent grooming or causing matting. Some dogs shed little. Some dog's fur is more like human hair and people may be less allergic to it. But all dogs shed.

ALL fur-bearing mammals shed. A so-called non-shedding dog sheds just as much as any other dog. The difference is that most of the "non-shedding" breeds get matted. So instead of the fur being on your clothes and furniture it's all tangled up in the dog's coat. They need to be brushed daily or they end up needing to be shaved.

some shed more than others. Unless the dog is hairless, it's hair will still break and some will fall off (like a human). We do not technically shed, but some of our hair still ends up on the bathroom floor. Check out this website.

I have a mix of a shitzu and a pomeranian and she is not supposed to shed. But she does. She sheds really bad after she gets groomed or gets brushed. So a shedding dog and a non shedding dog.........probably will....or just a bit......

There is no such thing as a "totally" non-shedding dog. All dogs shed at least a little hair at one time or another, as do humans. There are however dogs that shed little to no hair.

YES.

ALL breeds shed. Poodles, Bichones, ETC have a curly overcoat, which their shedded undercoat gets caught up in, causing matting. This is why they need to be groomed.

Actually, some Poodle mixes shed MORE than the purebred breed they're mixed with. For example- Poodle x Labrador Retriever may actually shed more than a purebred Labrador.
