JPM may have a win in cup on a road course but remember how he got that win. He did not out drive everyone, he backed into it by a great pit call.

I go with Smoke to win

I think Ron Fellows is driving in the race, I don't know if any other Canadians are

I'm picking Pat Carpentier in the NBS race, and Ron Fellows in the Cup race. Watkins is a great track for Fellows (I believe he's got an NBS win there).

Fellows made a funny remark the other day after the Montreal race that he's gonna show up with a hockey stick to Watkins... the point being if they want to play rough (like in the closing laps at Montreal) then he's gonna show up ready to play rough :)

Would be nice for JPM though. I had really hoped he'd win Indy to so he'd have an oval win this year too.

I was all set to go with Scott Pruett but he is not entered in the cup race. I would think Tony Stewart will do very well and look out for Kevin Harvick. Robby, Juan, Jamie McMurray and Jeff Gordon should also contend. Bottom line Tony is my pick to win (ouch, that's always hard to say that).

It's time for Boris Said to finally WIN a road course race. Gordons Jeff & Robbie have excellent chances, as does Harvick and Stewart.

1996.. Dale Earnhardt was still suffering from a serious injury two weeks earlier at Talladega.. He had a broken clavicle (shoulder blade), and a broken sternum (chest plate).. They had to have special seat belts made so the injuries wouldn't be aggravated.. Earnhardt qualified on the pole, and the plan was for him to get out of the car at the first caution.. He never got out.. He led for fifty six laps, pitted, and I don't know what happened, but he came out of the pits in sixth, and finished there.. I think that was when Dale stopped trusting Larry Mac, and didn't get a win from then until the 1998 Daytona 500..

I'll be there by turn 11 cheering for Canadian Ron Fellows as my second choice. He has won everything recent at the Glen except a Cup race.

Go, Smoke!

I am always going for Jeff Gordon! I hate to say it but Tony Stewart and JPM have a good chance to win also. Robby Gordon also has a good chance.
