My faith is a result of the work God has done before me, in me, around me, as well as my own brain calisthenics on the subject. He has given me quite a few reasons and shown me quite a few times that he is real and loves me.
- Love - God is Love. I feel love is THE most powerful thing in the universe, aside from God himself. I feel the existence and power of love is great evidence for His existence.
- Answered Prayer - God has answered prayers of mine ranging from easing my mind over stress to healing my Mother from terminal cancer.
- The Bible - Either the Bible is the true word of God, or the shepherds and farmers that wrote it were some very brilliant Psychologists/sociologists as well. The Bible understands man very well. It understands how man thinks, and how man acts. It also has great advice for many different aspects of life.
Art & Rhythm - It sounds sort of silly, but our understanding of light and shade, colors, forms, as well as ability to understand rhythms and beauty of sound and sight to me sets us far apart from any other creature. To me it is some sort of evidence that God created us to enjoy the beauty of other beings and His Earth.
I could go on for a long time, but these are some of my major reasons...if you want to know more, email me.

I believe because there is something real and bright and intense in my heart. It's ineffable, but it's always there.
As for external reasons: sunrise to sunrise, there are a million every day. How the electric impulses in my brain transform into thoughts and emotions; how love wins out in spite of unbelieveable odds every time; how the smell of baking bread can take me back to another place and time as real as if it were a time machine; all the corny things that everybody talks about: music, children laughing, love between brothers, the eyes of a new mother.
That and about a buhzillion more things.

I've had a pretty good life - not many trials and tribulations. God has never really given me a reason to have faith, other than that there have been many small instances when I think He kept me safe, guided me, etc.
Mostly, I have faith simply because it's something I feel deep inside.

The heavens proclaim His glory, the structure and order of the universe are proof that God is, the Bible has so many proofs you can't name them all. Ex. man is made of dust , the universe is expanding, the earth is round, the stars are innumerable how could Moses known these things without the knowledge of God.

Do you believe that Aliens exist?? If so why?? Have you ever actually seen one?? What about black holes have you ever seen one of those?? Have you ever seen a real dinosaur?? Of course you've seen bones but how do you know theyre real? Have you ever seen the center of the earth?? is it real?? Can you see air?? What about letting people believe what they believe?? Faith is believing in something even though you might not be able to see.
Just take a second to try and absorb that concept.... got it?

I first believed on faith. Then I began to have and continued to receive confirmation. These reasons only applied to me. Any one else could claim it was coincidence.

The fact that you imply god give us anything mean that you believe in god. Your question is bias, therefore you're looking for a specific answer.
What is this answer you're looking for?
