She can process about 1.5 drinks (made with 1.25 oz) of alcohol per hour before she is over the limit of .08. That's either a mixed drink, a 6 oz glass of wine, or a 12oz beer.

It is different for everyone out there. Everyone has a different metabolism which processes alcohol differently.

I am sure it differs by state but in WA, I can arrest you even if your BAC is under a .08. I only have to prove impairment. If you are impaired at .05, you can and will be arrested for DUI. The .08 is a "per se" impairment level that is accepted as a general impairment level of any adult.

REMEMBER: If you are going to drink alcohol have a designated driver or call a cab. That is the only way to truly avoid a DUI.

2 drinks would put a 100# female at .1 and a 125# female at .08

It sounds like you have some really good answers, including resources!

1.5 drinks sucks! I'm literally 3'8 inches and 75lbs because I have dwarfism. Also I have very high metabolisim and I have wondered how many drinks it would take me to limit of .08.
I never have more than 2-3 drinks in one setting anyways.

On average, I would guess it would be 1-1 1/2 drinks. However, there are a lot of factors that can influence that.

Keep it safe...keep it to a minimum. Either that, or have a designated driver.

Some states are down to .06. That would not take much, that's for sure.

Depends on what you are drinking. Most of the online BAC calculators I have found say 3-4 drinks if it is light beer.

Do a search under BAC or BAC calculator. The one I checked was from Univ of Oklahoma Police Department.

Actually that depends on how you or the bartender makes your drinks...for my cousin it was 4 drinks but it all depends.
