I don't think God prefers any religion. He needs no religion or rules or regulations. I think God would like it better if we abolished religion and took up Spirituality, living together in peace as the brothers and sisters that we are. IMHO.

Let us Ponder over the Holy Book Quran for Answers:
2:213 ALL MANKIND was a single community;And (then as differences arose between them) Allah raised Prophets as bearers of gladtidings and warners and He sent down with them the Book with the truth so that it may decide between the people in matters of dispute. And none disputed therein except the people who were given the Book after the clear proofs have come to them, and that was out of jealousy among themselves. So Allah guided by Hisa will those who believed in the truth about what they used to dispute. And Allah guides whom He will to the straight path.
3:19 Surely the only true Faith in the sight of Allah is Islam. and nor did those who were given the Book dissent therefrom till after the true knowledge had come to them; (and the dispute was) on account of envy and spite among themselves. and whoso denies the Revelations of Allah, then surely Allah is Swift at reckoning.

God will not concider any "religion" when granting His free gift of Salvation to those who come to Him in The Way He prescribes.
There is no "religion" that will gain any one entry into Heaven
Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.
There is only One Church
Those who are of The Church already know it... if you do not know if you are of The Church... then you aint.
Only God decides who is

I believe that if God exists, he would prefer a person or belief system that doesn't rely on unreliable evidence or faith.
