December 9, 1991 I was hit by a 3/4 ton pickup. I had to be revived twice on the ride to the hospital. My gods sent me back to help people I had not met yet. As a tarot reader in New Orleans I have done just that

I've had several. One memorable one was: In 1999, I was mugged by a guy while another stood lookout. This guy beat me very badly (just for the hell of it; he'd already taken all of my stuff), and I ended up in the hospital. At some point during the beating, he took out a razor blade and put it to my throat; and I'm certain that he was going to cut my throat. However, after a moment or 2, he just stopped everything & left. I've never seen the guy again.
: )

My mother died of cancer in 1996. Shortly before her death, we heard (by telephone) from a woman that my mother had been close friends with when I was a little kid. I remembered her and as my mother was unable to talk on the phone at that point, I talked with the woman. She told me that she had been through cancer and had a near death experience. She told me not to worry about whether or not Heaven exists, because she had been there and it is beautiful. I believe her. :)

there are theory's that near death experiences are nothing more than the chemical reactions of a brain in crisis. The arguments point to the fact that while a person is dying, the brain is extremely busy attempting to deal with the business of closing down. Part of this involves shooting various chemicals that induce or that can induce hallucinations of contentment. Scientists can recreate this experience in people while they are alive and healthy.

Yep. A friend of mine had a heart attack. He remembers two things: someone on the phone telling him not to move, help is on the way, then seeing a door, with a bright light behind it, and a voice telling him "not now, not the time" followed by a force that pushed him backwards, finally waking up in the recovery room.

Let's see ....
My appendicitis burst and I was hospitalized for a couple of weeks.
Numerous car accidents including two head on collisions
Been some very serious fights, been stabbed, been shot at and knelt beside a friend who was murdered.
Everyday we are a little closer to death, but that is no reason to stop living - rock on!!!

I haven't personally, but here is a link to a web site that has the most fascinating reading I've ever seen! I have no doubt there is another side that we go to when we die!
