I have been dating this guy for 6 months and known him for 8 years. we have talked about marrage and plan on it when i finish Grad school, in 2 years. I love him so much but didn't know just how much till I Broke up with him!! well i cheated on him 3 weeks ago with my Ex, of whom i have been friends with since day 1 that we broke up. So i was confused did i want to be with my Ex or current... i told my ex about my infedelities. he was extrememly hurt BUT didnt want to loose me. last monday i had a conversation with my current and told him that the reason HIS last relationship didnt work was cause he smothered her like he is smothering me. After our long conversation he then called his EX of whom for the last 6 months always told me how much he hated her and has NEVER talked to her after the break-up conversation., to tell her he was Sorry for his actions while they were together. SO NOW he wants to be Friends with her. I don't know what to think... is he going to leave me for her??????

would he really be "leaving you" if you are broke up? and he is probably trying to make you jealous bc he is thinking the same thing. Think about the good qualities and bad about your current and your ex decide which fits you better and decide which you like better. The one that fits you may agree on most things as you do and may love the same things but the one you like better will always be an adventure and instead of waking up to a husband or boyfriend clone who is just like you wouldnt you rather wake up to something exciting every morning? And dating and marrige are supposed to be adventures right? So pick which one you want to have those adventures with. Wish you luck and I hope this helps you very much.

I think that u made the biggest mistake of ur life and as u said that u cheated on him with ur ex than sure he will try to get back at u by doing something like that to u... Why don't u make up ur mind that with whom u want to be ur ex or ur current bf...

i dont know what he's going to do, but it seems you and your current boyfriend aren't that compatible.
my ex boyfriend always tried to pressure and smother me, and it was very uncomfortable.
if you went out and cheated, that's a very good sign you're not content in your current relationship for various reasons.
just because we think we are madly in love with someone, doesn't mean they are good for us.

well wether he is going to leave you or not, u should accept his decision because you were the one that cause this conflict u r in. Knowing that you hurt him so much, it is obvious he will seek his ex girlfriend for comfort and support because that's what u took away from when you left him.

you openly admitted you cheated on your current boyfriend and now you are worried that he will leave you for his ex b/c he apologized for his actions. maybe you should apologize for your actions and tell him what you did. how can you say you love him so much when you are still sleeping and talking with your ex b/f. if you don't want him to talk to his ex don't talk to yours and keep your pants on.

Seems like he's gonna do what you did, call your ex, whatever.
Im sure he was hurt, he probably wont go back with her, but he might cheat, like you did.
