He was one of the prophets.
Muslims believe in the virgin birth and the miracles. But Mohammed was the LAST prophet.
Both men are considered to be human. They do not see Jesus as God, or a "part" of God, although as Prophets, they are both considered to be infallible.

Jesus Christ or Isa al-Masih was sent to the lost tribe of Israel to set right the excesses the Jewish rabbi has imposed onto the Jews, and the extraneous laws they have put upon themselves.
This include, like what we read in the NT about the prohibition of taking water from the well on Sabbath.
He was sent as a renewer to Judaism, at a time where relgion has become all too legalistic with the rules and law, but devoid of the spirituality such laws was supposed to bring about or come together with.
The Jewish doctors of law were also becoming corrupt and pompous. Christ was sent to make this right too.
But for the other main rulings of the Mosaic Laws, things are to remain, as Christ said he is not sent to alter the law. Thus we find that he didn't abolish circumcision, but it was Paul who did so in an attempt to win converts to Christianity after the death of Christ among the Gentiles.
Likewise in matters of theology where God the Father is One as revealed to Moses among the 10 Commandments.
Jesus was sent to bring good news of the person that the Father will send after Christ has depart, by the name of Ahmad, or as some bible puts it, The Comforter. While Christian commentators has identified the Holy Spirit as The Comforter, we know that the Holy Spirit has been around with Christ even while he was alive. But this Comforter will come only after Jesus has departed from the world.
Thus Christ was the last messenger sent among the Israelis preceeding Muhammad (Ahmad) by some 600 years.
Christ is among the Great 5 Messengers of Islam, or 'Ulul Azmi, ie, along with Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad whose main message was the worship of The One True God.

In the Muslim world, "Jesus," is considered to be a prophet who happened to preach prior to the arrival of Mohamed.
Interestingly, the Koran respects the Old Testament and the New Testament too.

They just consider Jesus a Prophet. They do not believe that he is the Son of God.

The warlord mohammed had some bizarre things to say about our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Basically, he claimed that the entire New and Old Testaments were written by "devils". And that Jesus himself wrote a gospel. In that Gospel, which only mohammed ever read, Jesus drones on about Allah and what a great guy the pervert warlord mohammed would be 800 years in the future.
