Turkish/English song of all time?
My favorite Turkish song would have to be anything from Tarkan.
My favorite English song would be Sting, Fields of Gold.

Tanju: I like the song. I've always watched Hilary Duff (as an actress) when I was younger, and I always admired her as a person. On the show she was on (Lizzy McGuire) she used to sing once in a while. Her voice is very natural and you can tell it's not studio perfected.

You mean you like it better than Fragile? No way!

I like Tears in Heaven, Eric Clapton. It's so heartbreaking.

Turkish? Mmm. For the last two years I have been listening to Duman. People think it's a band for teenagers (that's what I used to think) but they have a solid style, good lyrics and a pretty primitive, sincere sound. After listening to Sezen Aksu's Herşeyi Yak from them, you will never want to go back to the original. I have to add that, Sezen Aksu loved this version, too.

I just hope they don't lose the spirit.

At last: a pleasant question....

Turkish: Bile Bile, Sezen Aksu/Alessandro Safina (a touch of Italy does not hurt).

English: Still got the blues, Gary Moore (the King)...

There are so many, I don't know which one to choose :(((((
English: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIoGOgqs_20
from Simon & Garfunkel

Turkish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIoGOgqs_20
from Şevval Sam & Kazım Koyuncu

they both make my eyes wet

edit: Tanju, this Hillary Duff is great. She has a soft sweet voice and she is also pretty.

Turkish- Tarkan Simarik (people call me shallow because they think this song is deprived of emotion. Why, I think *muck muck* is romantic enough ;p )

English- Savage Garden- To the moon&back. (Now this does have a deep meaning for me. But it primarily has nothing to do with looove- now, now you have to lengthen the "o"s :p )

for turkish songs,it is hard to make a choice. but nowadays I listen to "kemancı";
halime bak, dertli çal,
kemancı,
başımın tacı...
and "hatasız kul olmaz" by orhan gencebay; that guy has a unique sound...

But for english, "it's probably me" by Sting. ( tek geçerim )

Turkish: TARKAN's "Asla vazgeçemem" and "Kır zincirlerini"

English...I take it you mean made in the UK right? Not American as well...then...I'd say Sting's "Whenever I say your name".
