I f your mom is christian, take her to Efesus, St Johns tomb. The house of the Virgin Mary. All close to each other
near selcuk if you drive and have time see iznik on the way.

Just go to Sultanahmet. It is hard to miss Ayasofya and Sultanahmet Camii. Topkapı Palace and Dolmabahçe are hard to miss, too.
Mihrabat cafe-restaurant to sit in the evening and enjoy yourselves. Bu beware. This place is alcohol free. Spectacular view.
