I just got contact lenses. I'm wearing them right now. I haven't changed the solution since yesterday because I've heard you only refill the case if the solution looks like it's finishing. But then I heard another story. Okay, is this right? I don't think it is.

In the morning, you put the contacts in your hand as you clean/rub them and put them in your eyes. Then you throw away yesterday's solution.

At night, you put the contact lenses back in the case. And then the process repeats.

Is this right? So we just clean the contacts in our hand before putting them on. Ok I'm ****ing confused!!!!! Help me, lol and explain slowly and easily.

What did your fitter tell you? Call their office to confirm.

All solutions are supposed to be changed daily, throw out the solution every morning and put fresh solution in the case at night. Rubbing and rinsing daily is a good idea even if the solution is labelled "no rub", best to rub after removing at night sp that the lens is clean before putting into storage solution.

Honestly there is no set way. If you're very cautious, then I would suggest throwing away the solution from the case every day and filling it every day. On the solution, it should say weather it's a rubbing solution or not. If it is, then you have it right. If it's not, then just so as the instructions say on the box of the solution. If you're not very cautious, then you can usually just leave the solution in there for every other day unless it looks particularly dirty to you.

You are right except you should probably clean your lenses the night before and let them soak overnight. Never sleep with them in unless you have the extended wear type contacts. Also, you should never re-use the solution at any time. When in doubt throw it out is best when unsure about the solution that is in the case.
If you have disposable lenses, you should replace them as recommended by your doctor. If you are not sure about something, you should double check with them to make sure.

You have to clean your contacts every night, when you put them in the case. Then you have to fill the case with the conservation solution (Renu-Complete-Aosept i don't know what are you using). At morning you have to wash your contacts with water or saline solution and use them.
Wash the case with water and let dry with the air.
By the way i recommend you to use POLYCLEANS II (Alcon) that is the best cleanser for contacts.
Good luck!

You should always use fresh solution cause when you put them in the case overnight ten solution is cleaning them for the next days use. I always rinse my case and let it air dry during the day and put fresh solution every time i put my contacts in the case. And its a good idea to clean them in your hand every time you put in because it helps remove any thing that may be on them. Another good thing to do is have paper towel's on hand to dry off your fingers to help hold your eye open and i bought this magnifying mirror with suction cups to stick on the bathroom mirror just to make it easier to see cause I'm sure you know it can be tricky! good luck i love love mine!

Honestly it depends on what type of solution you have. I use ReNu No Rub solution. You are supposed to change the contact solution every time you take your contacts out.

Usually you just have to enter the script which is 2 or 3 numbers.. one for your eye size and one for the actual prescription. You should be able to go back and ask for the day ones especially since you just had an eye exam and if they don't have it then they should have to order it. I go to walmart so they just call 1800contacts for me
