Find some sleazy company that gives no service, just low prices if all you want is cheap.

If you mean what is best for you at the lowest rates, find an independent agent and have him search his data base of companies with your information to find what is best for you.

There are manny ways to lower your current insurance rate such as taking driver's training, increasing your deductibles or dropping your collision coverage. More information on how to lower your insurance premium can be found at http://www.auto-insurance-knowledge.com/online-insurance-rates.html.

You can also compare your current rate to what other companies are offering by getting an online insurance quote. Go to http://www.auto-insurance-knowledge.com/24-hour-insurance-quote-auto.html

This will compare all companies in your area and find you the lowest prices.

I hope that helps

Shop around. Some companies have online quotes (like Progressive); search the web for all the 800 numbers of the larger insurance companies. We shopped around and are now paying about half of what we were previously. (Amica is a good company.)

Be very, VERY good driver for some years - you get the discounts then. Also, if you are a student, if you keep good grades, they start you with a small discount. They want you to prove yourself as a driver.
