Or is it possible for lust to come only after love? If that is the case, how frequently does that actually happen?
What are the odds that you wouldn't lust after your future spouse before marriage?

I never said lust was the same as love, people. I'm just saying that, because true love takes time to develop, chances are you will lust after your future love/spouse well before you love them. It's inevitable.
Confirmed atheist: good point.

Lust is a sin, in the Bible it means to lust after what does not belong to you
even in marriage, to lust after those who you are not married to is considered Adultery
but you can sin by lusting after money, and things of that nature also

Lust is when all you want is to get or receive something. This amounts to using the object of your lust. Using people, money, or other objects for your own personal gain, without regard for others is wrong, and is sinful. Lust elevates the object to a place in your mind before God and before other people.
Love is when all you want is to give. It puts concern for God before yourself. It puts concern for other people after God,but before yourself. Love does not include things at all.

I still lust over my husband. That cannot be a bad thing. I mean really. I had lust before love and in love. Lust is awesome. ;)

Lust is a want a need you want to satisfy i your mind or body ..
It's not Love..Lusting after a person just means that you have a desire of a lustful nature it usually does not lead to love When you loves ssomeone then desires of love accompany that feeling..

You are using logic again, the religiosity won't like it. lol
Lust is never a sin. Sex is not a sin.
You have to be attracted to (in lust for) somebody before you can learn to love them. That's how the procreation process works. First you lust, then if you are lucky enough, you get to go to the next stage. lol
You can not love somebody from the first moment you meet them because you don't know anything about them. You can lust after somebody, but that is by no means a sin.
The real sin is not lusting to begin with. If nobody lusted, the human race would die out.

You are mixing "lust" with "attraction" or "passion". Lust is not limited to the sexual. Lust is an extreme form of coveting. You want it, and will do anything to get it.

I think lust used as it is in the bible would more accurately be defined as obsession to the point of mental illness. If it isn't then it should be.
