saying that he isn't going to listen to her so about two months ago I stopped asking her to talk to him, I prayed all day Saturday fasting and praying and reading the bible asking God to intervene, and on Monday at 2 in the morning my sister said that she was fast asleep and that she was awoken and that at that time she sent my husband a text message of everything she felt in her heart it was 15 pages long and that she just cried until she finally finished and fell asleep. My question is do you think God spoke to her and do you think that this will make my husband react and see the mistakes he is making?

fasting is stupid and unbiblical, please read the bible. (1 corinthians 8:8 tells us fasting is pointless)

2nd if ur praying that god changes an outcome, ur praying that god takes free will away.

3rd, what exactly is your husband doing thats wrong? if he left 3 months ago, get over it, u cant make someone love you. (not to mention, stop trying to get your sister involved in it. its really not her problem)

and please explain the 15 page text message. for someone who is up at 2 in the morning that is a lot of typing on the cell phone. not only do u need a life, but im pretty sure itd be more accurate to say she sent 15 text messages, i dont think u can send 15 pages of text at once.

Why would you want to get your sister involved in a situation between you and your wandering husband? Little good can come out of it, but there could be a lot of hard feelings. You all could end up angry and hurt with each other (she's already not doing what you ask, and has that upset you?).

Is it POSSIBLE a problem between you and your husband is a lack of communication?

Interesting story. Yes, it very well could be that your prayer moved the Holy Ghost to talk to your sister and motivate her to send a message to your husband. What the outcome will be is anybodies guess but I would say it could go either way. My question to you is did you try to talk to your husband first before nagging your sister to do it? You don't mention your own efforts to find out why your husband left. Have you examined your own life to make sure you were not at least at little bit at fault in the breakdown of your marriage?
In my experience as a lawyer and as a church counselor, I have rarely seen a bad marriage that didn't have some blame to share on both sides of the story. What I am suggesting is that you make sure your side of the marital history is clean, including apologizing for any mistakes of your own, asking his forgiveness for those things, before you cast the balance of the blame on him, seeking his repentance of those things on his side.
In my own marriage, I find it easier for my wife to make changes if I first seek to make changes in my own life. If I take the responsibility to improve myself as a husband, then it is easier for her to improve herself as a wife.
I do hope this works out for you and that your husband comes around.

We can always pray. It is God's decision how to answer. One thing I can tell you for certainty, is that He never forces Himself on anyone. He has ways of getting things done, ways we can only see from hindsight...sometimes.
Ultimately, your husband's choice is still his choice to make.
May God influence him to do the right thing.

he is going to come to that on his own terms. God will show him the way (what he did right or wrong) when the time is right. until then, you keep living your life for God and pray.

what phone co. are you with? are the text msg unlimited?
