I have very thick course hair on my head and consequently the hair on my legs is thick and course. I frequently end up with razor burn and/or stubble even when I use new razors, 3 blade razors, and shaving cream. Any ideas?

Schick Quattro + Aveeno shaving gel for sensitive skin = the best.

Also, use a body poof & shower gel on your legs to soften the hair before you shave.

If this doesn't help, then consider waxing.

I often have problems shaving--nicks and cuts. To avoid scarring or scabs on my legs I use depilatories like Neet and Nair. Yes they are very effective at hair removal. I use them 10-15 minutes while watching TV or doing dishes so it's not inconvenient.

don't use shaving cream/gel...use hair conditioner instead.
