Since every denomination says that the other denominations aren't "true Christians," whilst asserting their own true christian status, does that mean that there are no true christians?

in my opinion the only true Christians lived way back in the day in the first century church.. i mean read Acts, they are all healing people, and fellowshipping and walking in love.. it's amazing. i personally hate demon-ations and think it's a trick to believe any other doctrine than what's given in the bible. I've been in a non denominational church my whole life.. i don't think I'm a "true Christian" but i endeavor to do the right thing according to the spirit and the word... that's my two cents.

No, but perhaps it means that there is no "true Christian church"!

A church is merely a group of people and, like any group of people, they aren't "clones" who all behave and think alike. A "true Christian" is someone that honestly and consistently seeks to "follow Christ". A church doesn't think, it doesn't have a "soul"...a church can't choose to follow Christ or not follow him, only the individuals in the church can make that decision.

Sitting in a building doesn't make you a Christian...some people attend church for what they can get out of it (e.g., handouts), some people attend church for the business connections and others attend for the prestige of being able to claim membership of a church with long historical ties, some people attend church to fool a friend or loved one in to thinking they are something they aren't (e.g., a man who attends church to fool his gf into thinking he's a "Godly man" so she'll accept his marriage proposal)!

No. Jesus said that true Christians could be identified by the good fruitage they produce- Matthew 7:16. He also said that not all who claimed to be his followers would be doing the will of his Father - Matthew 7:22&23.

Sounds like it! How about this one: If every denomination claims that non-members are going to hell for not belonging to the "right" denomination and since no one belongs to more than one denomination, are all Christians going to hell?

I am the root and the offspring of David, and of Christianity. Many Christians are "false", this is one reason we have arrived at this point. I wish to welcome you to Tribulation. I pray that you are ready for the Son of Man, and have kept watch.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending , which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

And, behold, I have come quickly; and have kept my word, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Blessed is he who has kept watch, and has not denied my name.

REVELATION:
18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

18:12 - 18:13 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Mecca is Babylon. The merchant is the devil, who buys the souls of men who worship a false God. The Muslims sell their souls to the devil by their practice of idolatry.

This is about the Muslems, and the Communists, and all those who deny my name.

I wish you peace, as we enter into the re-creation of the earth.

Jesus Christ

No. It means that is just their belifs. Being a christian is not about being or doing. A christian is someone who has asked Jesus Christ to be in their hearts and has chosen to follow Christ, so only God truly knows who is and who isn't a christian. I don't think people have the ground to say who is and who isn't a christian.

The label "true" Christian is made up by certain Christians in order to push their own doctrine.

christians are followers of Christ. period.
if you believe Him to be the Son of God sent to earth to die for your sins, accept Him into your heart, live according to the laws, read and obey His Word, ask Him daily for forgiveness, have a personal relationship with Him and try to spred His gospel, I guess that makes you a "true christian".
