In 1980 the average wage in a meat processing facility was nearly $20.00 per hour. Now it is near $9.00 per hour.

Adjusted for inflation (at an average of 3% per year) the average meat packing plant worker has 121% less gross income now than then. Numbers are similarly shocking for the construction and manufacturing industries as well.

Do YOU think this is good for American Workers?

Illegal immigration IS NOT good for American Workers in
any way, shape, or form. What Illegal immigration does is
keep the AMERICAN Unemployment Rate UP, & RUINS
AMERICA'S economy. Illegal immigrants come to the U.S.,
STEAL jobs from American Workers, then SEND THE
MONEY THEY MAKE BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES!
That's a known fact. I'm not just talking about a few hundred
illegals sending money back to their countries, I'm talking
about MILLIONS of illegals doing this. Imagine millions of
illegals sending AMERICAN money back to their countries,
thats MILLIONS of AMERICAN DOLLARS that the United
States is LOSING! Basically, illegals are robbing the U.S.
Robbing American of their jobs, & MONEY! Those who are
STUPID enough to be hiring illegals are contributing to
the United States' ECONOMIC DOWNFALL. Do you think
its fair that illegals come into America & STEAL? Illegal
Immigration MUST BE STOPPED! If you want to immigrate,
do so LEGALLY!!! God bless America & it's troops!

There is absolutely no benefit whatsoever to American workers. The only thing that illegals are doing is taking jobs away from Americans. Whether or not they are considered good jobs is not the point. They are still jobs that honest American citizens that pay taxes and support the economy would have.

I am self - employed in construction where 99% of illegal aliens work. I have never hired 1,, not 1. Never will. Though I could hire 1 any day of the week for about half as much per hour. For me to hire an illegal alien would put some hard working tax paying AMERICAN CITIZEN out of a job.

whether it is good or bad, it is an issue that is here to stay and will shape the future. The fact is, that even though illegals are not being paid fairly, and because of lower wages are taking jobs that lower class, uneducated americans would otherwise be working - they are still making more than they would in mexico. And in this situation, most americans would do the same thing. It is all about self preservation. Those who have a problem with it need to do one of the three options of survival of the fittest: Adapt, Migrate, or Die.

It doesnt it keeps wages low, while promoting an ideal that our laws dont apply to minorities. Honestly if we tried to sneak into mexico they would treat us the same way they treat thier neighbors to the south throw them out once and kill them the second time they get caught in the country. But then our crops might jump an amazing 15 cents or some oter massive number.

it helps American Employers by making it cheaper for them to hire ppl so they make more money. it also takes up jobs Americans would normally have but since the illegals are taking the job at lower pay it leaves the American out in teh rain.
