i think your idea is right. it is bad for the evironment but usually the only reason people watch it is because they have nothing better to do. and they like the idea of cars crashing into each other.

There is so much knowledge behind this sport. You refer to golf as a comparison to racing? Hitting a little white ball into a hole compared to doing 100mph+ on a racetrack with forty other cars while trying not to wreck the whole field or end someones day or maybe even(much safer now) life?

Most tracks are oval, not circular. Funny thing about NASCAR fans, we are all far to busy loving life and each other to hate other sports we do not care for. What do I think about your fishing and golf?

I think I am glad a person like you enjoys fishing and golf.

To all you NASCAR fans - Love ya

Then go watch Golf or fishing. Why are you even on this forum? When you're watching golf think of all the pollution caused by the lawn mowers that take care of the course, and all the pollution those thousands of people made by flying and driving to the event.

And fishing, the pollution caused by gasoline outboard motors, it's terrible. And oh those poor fish.

First of all, use a spell check. Second, stay out of the NASCAR question area if you don't like it. Third, you have to be much more physically fit to be a NASCAR driver than play golf. Learn something!!!!!!!!!!

Someone who enjoys golf and fishing would and could not understand the sport in Nascar being a golf and fishing fan. So leave the Nascar to us and enjoy your "fun sports".

how can you ask this question and yet, you say you're a HUGE NASCAR fan?

i love the sport. it's fun exciting. i get to see my favorite drivers race for points, and big bucks, and occasionally, you get to see a huge pile-up wreck.

Go Talladega.....

theocsun... i like your answer.

Thank you for your opinion. No one is asking you to watch. And mid-size cities probably cause more pollution than all the NASCAR races put together.
