I am turning 18 next month and I want to have an awesome hairstyle. I'm not inviting any guys so I don't need to impress anyone but I want to have a great hairstyle for my 18th. My hair is about medium volume and it's dark brown and about three inches below my shoulders. I don't have bangs but I may get side swept ones before the partay. What should I do?

Well, there are a lot of possibliities but I suggest you get on the web and create your own style on one of the free style sites. You can put your own photo into the site and then use their hair styles or you can pick out a face they have that you think matches you the best. Try the site below for a chance at a new you. You can also just type in Photo's of... and then put the type of style or hair color into the search engine and it will produce all the pictures of people who have that style. You can brouse them also for ideas. And there is always the trip to the salons to look through their hair books they have. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Hmm...to tell you the actuality, a cool coiffure for medium styled hair would be an ingredient sweep bang and layers. yet then you definately would would desire to straighten your hair every time so once you're as much as that then choose for it. yet i do no longer comprehend any varieties on your curly hair till you desire to appear like a poodle of have an afro, then cut back great it short. lol

side swept bangs are a great idea you should put your hair in a side ponytail with curls. its good because as you step into adultury ull still show some of your childish side. GL!:)

Why don't you go to your local salon and talk with one of the stylist? Also I wouldn't wait till the day of the party to cut your hair, because if you hate it, it might ruin the party. Just ask a stylist what he or she thinks will compliment to best features. And Happy Birthday!!

the side swept bangs are definetly the way to go. they look really good with curls, though. so maybe you could loosly curl your hair and get temporary highlights or something.

well depends on what kind of party it is, but i think you could curl it, but dont do all of it and clip half of it up. or you could do an up-do
