I want a professionals opinion,
Do you think I take pictures of animals pretty good? I've always loved taking pictures and want to persure in it but I don't have the money to start. Is there any good cheap/free ways of getting my self started in a photography career?
Here's just a few pictures:

It is good to have a hobby that you like a lot, even if you don't end up making a career from it. The first step in pursuing a career is knowledge.
Obviously you have a lot to learn. First, go to the library, or amazon.com, and borrow or buy a few books on beginning photography. Kodak had a really good beginner's book, it is out of print now but still available used. Also there are some websites that have pretty good tips, www.kodak.com. www.betterphoto.com. www.photo.net, www.nyip.com to name just a few.
You will be very limited with a cel phone camera, but you can still learn some basic art and composition, and apply that to whatever you use to capture the image. Perhaps you could ask for at least a decent compact digicam for your birthday or holiday. One of the entry or mid level Canon, Nikon, or Olympus would be a good starter camera.
Study professional photographer's images and learn from them. Look at the composition and lighting. Try to take similar images in your world.
Study your camera manual. Learn its limitations and what it is capable of doing. Pay attention to lighting throughout the day. Take the same picture at different times of day to see how the light changes the image.
Be selective with what you show. Learn from your misses and only show the better ones. Delete the stuff that's not in focus, or where the exposure is horribly bad. Learn how to be your own editor.
Study, observe, learn, practice and practice some more. Don't get discouraged, you will make progress. Don't forget to have fun!

Ok... I am not a professional. I have taken pictures for 20 plus years and have made the transition from film to digital.
Having said that, I will gently critique your photos because I dont want to destroy your hopes of becoming a photographer.
The rat is out of focus and the angle could have been more to the left to help develop the scene.
The fish picture, these types of pictures have been done a lot, so watch out for your light refractions against the glass.
The bottom fish...well its out of focus and needs to be more fish and less tank.
The puppy picture is not a good one.
Please dont be offended by my comments... If you do make it in the business, you WILL hear much worse than that about better pictures.
Anyhow, good luck to you.

Photography is more than pointing a camera at a subject. It's about composition, lighting, colour (if you're shooting colour), ... If you're serious about a career in photography, study up on composition first of all. that's one of the most important aspects.
My advice would be to avoid using a cell phone camera... It's less than professional to say the least.

your pictures look pretty blur, so i suggest you get a slr if you want to go into professional photography. the lighting needs to be better, and you should try to take photos from a more creative angle.
