Penile issues and the inability to get an erection are not known side effect so ephedrine. The known side effects are:
nausea
loss of appetite
nervousness
anxiety
headaches
insomnia

Serious side effects include:
rapid heartbeat
irregular heartbeat
chest pain
sweating
tremors
vomiting
stomach pain
severe weight loss
urination problems
fever
breathing problems
mood changes
visual problems
slurred speech
mental confusion
If any of those occur, the doctor needs to be notified immediately.

Please note that it is always possible to have side effect symptoms that have never been documented so if he really is getting his symptoms from ephedrine, the doctor needs to be notified immediately!

It is time for your husband to be honest about what he really is taking. If your husband is really on ephedrine, he needs to see a doctor asap.

If he is on steroids, again, he needs to see a doctor and get off of them asap as they are life threatening drugs!

Good luck, dear, on getting to the bottom of this. Please drop me an email and let me know how it all turns out.
