A person who recognizes Gods love, mercy and grace is the only thing that saves them. Good is relative. Good in our view is much different than in Gods view. Jesus Christ makes us good. It's only God's view that I'm concerned about.

Acts 2:21
Eph 2:8-9
John 3:15-21
Romans (1,3,6,10)
Job 19
Mark 16:14-18 (don't read the NIV it leaves out scripture and not a good translation).

A good Christain does things as close to what Jesus said as it possible.

They are supposed to sell all they own and buy a sword and learn to use it, but not harm a hair on the head of the opposition, only put the fear God into them with their skills.

They are supposed to do twice the work asked.

They are supposed to go out in the world with nothing in their pockets.

They are supposed to show people the way and the light and if rejected just keep moving.

They are supposed to marry or refrain from sex or fornication.

A good Christian is one that studies God's Word and know his ministry in the age of grace. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Corinthians 5: 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

1st you must be saved according to scripture (acts 2;38) to even be called a christian.

our main purpose is to preach the Gospel to everyone .... it is our command from Jesus.
so we have to know what the Gospel is & how we are to obey it. scripture is clear on how important it is to obey the Gospel (which is the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ).
for those that don't obey, this will be their end ...

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:"
(2 thess. 1:8)

we are to love Him with all our heart, mind & soul.
we put Him before ALL things.
of course, we are to KNOW God's Word & keep all His Commandments.
we are to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit to allow the love of Christ show through us.
we are to live a life of peace & HOLINESS ...

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" (heb. 12:14).

we are to be separate from the world...

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
(2 Cor.6:17-18)

that means we are to be holy in our language, be modest in our clothing & appearance, don't participate in anything that Jesus would not do.

since we are bought with His blood, we no longer live for ourselves, but for Him... for we are now His.

Humility (power under control)

For the least of which here on earth, will be the most of which in heaven.

For the most of which here on earth, will be the least of which in heaven.

But of course if you do not believe in this, then it will seem as foolishness, even if you call yourself Christian.

I think motives are more important to God than actual performance. And if you're a good Christian, you don't have to tell people---God will know.

Love God more than his wife.
Love God's praises more than men's
Love to Obey God more than performing sacrifices
Love Truth more than his own life.
Love God and Love his neighbor as himself.
Is that enough or you want more ?
