First of all, make sure you're viewing the print preview at 100%. Oftentimes when you are looking at it at a reduced size it will remove some graphic elements such as borders. if can see it when you're editing the document, most likely it will print.

You can confirm this by right clicking on the little four point arrow in a box in the top left corner of the table when hover over the table. Choose "Borders and Shading" from the dropdown and check your settings.

That should do it.

Look in the table menu... you can set the grid lines to print or not for your table. It's described as 'borders' under properties... but you set the border for the cells in the selected area of the table or of the whole table.

So you can put a heavy line round the heading row, lighter lines one every other border and a double line round the outside. If you want to go that far or that picky.

You can also highlight part (or all) of the table and right click, select borders to put borders round a blok of cells in the table.

By default the grid lines don't print.

Did you go to Table--> Table Properties--> Borders and Shading and mess around with the borders up and down and in between table cells? (Borders and Tables has those items down the middle, cleverly hidden, I didn't notice for awhile...) You can pick and choose from all manner of fancy borders too, BTW or stick with plain ol' black
