It will work if it is installed properly. That is the issue. Some of these systems require power supplies etc. There are also state and local regulations regarding the installation and use of such systems unless you have a permit to do so. They are often limited to emergency vehicles and illegal in anything else. This is to stop the predators who pretend to be cops.

Follow the directions. It'll work.

I'm assuming you're authorized to use emergency lighting.
If you're not, it will cost a lot more than the flasher did.
