So if I buy a used car (private party) from Ohio, but live in PA, do I pay the registration taxes to Ohio or PA? If so, how much is it to the state accordingly?

you only pay car tax in the state you live, if the state sales tax is6% thats what you will pay when you register the car. thats it 6% is hypothetical ofcorse

If you live in PA you register and pay tax in PA. I don't know what your particular vehicle will cost.
