I was on it since last year, from September until about May. And then I stopped until this month when my acne was coming back after getting off mino. Can I become immune to it, or no?

And why is my acne coming back after taking almost a year of Minocycline? I'm tired of wasting my money on crap that gives me acne back once I get off it! >:O

Yes, you can become immune to Minocycline. It is an antibiotic. As far as I know, it is not meant to cure acne. It is just a treatment. As long as you are on the antibiotic, it kills the acne-causing bacteria in the oil on your face. Once you stop taking it, there is nothing to kill the bacteria in your oil so your acne returns.

Yes.

When I was on antibiotics for acne, my dermatologist used to rotate me. I'd be on Minocycline for a while, then she'd put me on Bactrim DS and after a while she change it to Tetracycline. And it would just rotate like that.

The antibiotics only work while you take them and for a little while after you get off. When they are out of your system completely (4-6 weeks), the acne can come back--and usually does. If you go back on an antibiotic--your acne will clear up again. I would suggest something other than Minocycline--it's time for a change. It's normal.
It's not a waste. The antibiotics are not a cure for the acne. This isn't an ear infection or strep throat--the acne bacteria keeps being produced by your body. There's no cure--only the antibiotic treatment.
