swollen glands or boils?
about 7 years ago i started getting lumps in my neck and my doc would give me antibiotics, since then i have been getting them under my arms (arm pit) at first maybe once/twice a year, since february this year i constantly have lumps of variouse sizes, they come but never go, they vary from pea size to very large and can get bloody painful, since february i have not been without any lumps and now i'm getting a throbbing in the right arm starting from the shoulder down the arm that weekens as it reaches my hand and then turns into pins and needles, could the lump be pressed against a nerve or vein? i seen on search engines glands fight infection, if this is glands is it possible to have an infection for eight months, i'm a healthy'ish 39 year old but i do smoke and like the occasional beer (no spirits), is it my glands fighting infection or is it boils, should i be worried, many thanks in advance.

I have the same thing, except mine started in random other places like the inside of my leg. While I'm not a doctor, my best guess would be that you have subcutaneous cysts, which can be painful and can get very large. Depending on how deep under the skin they are, they may not be able to open on their own and you may have to have a doctor lance them. It is my understanding that once you have a cyst like this, you will pretty much never be without them, even though sometimes they are small enough you may not notice them. The ones in your armpit can be the most excruciatingly painful ones as that's a high-friction area. I would go in and specifically ask the doctor if these are cysts, which they probably are, and then ask them to treat them. I hope you feel better!

I would find a doctor that is more willing to look further into this. It could be swollen glands and IF your glands are infected, it needs to be treated right away. It is not healthy to have an infection that lasts that long. Anyone else in your family history have any bumps like this? If so let me know...

In general, skin eruptions are toxins trying to get out of the body. Sometimes they don't make it all the way out but become encapsulated instead, which sounds like your situation.
The antibiotics you were given has probably caused more of this to happen. Antibiotics gradually cause digestive problems in the form of yeast overgrowth. The overgrowth sprout roots that poke holes in the digestive tract.
That allows poorly digested food and bad bacteria to pass through into the bloodstream.
Never take antibiotics unless you want to increase the problems you're already experiencing. Never. Not once.
If someone want to stop this process they would want to wipe out the bad yeast, patch the holes and restore friendly bacteria to keep the remaining yeast from spreading again.
1- Olive leaf extract or Candistroy
2- Glutamine (5 grams 2x a day) or IntestiNew.
3- PB-8 or another excellent multi-strain probiotic.
4- A good mutli-enzyme to give the digestive tract a chance to heal.
PS. If you get bad news and find out you've got cancer, this can actually be 'good news' since cancer is such a weak cell.
I wiped out my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks, simply with freshly grated hot peppers, and freshly grated garlic. I put them on bread and covered them in butter.
I also took emulsified cod liver oil. If I'd been losing weight, I would have taken evening primrose oil in place of the cod liver oil.
I'm sorry that you fear your parent's reaction to your condition. It sounds like you feel like a failure in their eyes. Well, please keep this in mind...you didn't know that antibiotics could be the cause of our worsening condition.
Furthermore, it could be the antibiotics you got as a young child that set up the intitial skin problems you developed. Antibiotics can also cause lethargy and fatigue. Then the spreading yeast can add to that.
None of us has lived the perfect life. Add to that, you just didn't know how bad antibiotics are for you.
So put that behind you and find a health practitioner who can give you an accurate diagnosis. Meanwhile, I hope this information has been helpful for you.
Good luck and be well.

You obviously have a staph infection. That's what I'd think. Boils , as far as I know, are a resul tof staph- the other symptoms , too. I've heard of people treating it with the oregano oil you buy at the health food store. You should notice immediate results...but I'm not diagnosing as a doctor.

By now you must be seeing a doctor for this condition. Take a look at this site. This could be a significant illness that can be treated, but you won't know if you don't see your physician.

If those glands are swelling, especially repeatedly, then you do have a reason to be worried. There are several things that can cause what you see, including cancer.
I suggest a good thorough check-up ASAP.
Good luck.

This sounds like it could definitely be a serious medical condition. If you have seen your doctor and this still hasn't solved the problem, I'd say it's time to seek a 2nd opinion from another doctor. Try a dermatologist.

If lumps are present and are not going away and your current doctor is not doing anything effective/ not giving you advice on what it could be, I would seek out a second opinion. Who knows what it could be...
