Is it possible to love someone after 2 months? I was seeing this other guy for 4 yrs, and after we broke up about a month later, I started dating this other guy which is my new boyfriend. I knew that I loved my ex, but it almost seems like I have the same feelings for this new guy that I had for him. I never went through the stupid, butterflys in the tummy phase, with the new one.. the feelings were just there, and I was comfortable. Could I just be carrying over these feelings from one relationship to the next, or are they real? I am so confused..

you're probably very taken with this guy, but falling in love normally takes more than a few weeks.....

if you were in a 4 year relationship, you really don't have anything to give (emotionally) to another relationship after a mere month... you haven't taken the time to readjust to life, grieve your last relationship at all....

this would typically be a rebound relationship. and they usually don't last long...

take some time for YOU... you don't have to be attached at the hip to some guy to have a full life. besides, you're cheating yourself because you haven't taken the time to digest the past four years, your relationship loss at all.

it usually takes a good year or more before we have anything to give after a long-term relationship breaks up.

take care.
