Ferrets...!?

Question

What do u think about ferrets??? I have some and they r CUTE!!!

I have an albino, all white with pink eyes!
a cinnamon colored one, she is SO pretty
Max, my favorite, normal gray and white colors, but he has an awesome personality
and a sable

they are not vicious when they grow up

they dont smell if u wash them every month, once a month, and wash their bedding

Keep them in a cage and let them play every day so they rnt pooping all over and stuff like that

I have 3 as well, and they are adorable. Mine are super friendly and don't bite and aren't aggressive. They love running around and terrorizing my cats lol. But, they are stinky animals. Even bathing them once a month and cleaning their cage daily, their poop just has a natural odor to it. And that 13.00 bottle of stuff that's supposed to help neutralize the odors does not work at all....

And I agree with the above post, I think those pet stores that leave them in an open cage for people to play with are bad. That's why tend to be more aggressive, all the rotten little kids playing rough or being mean to them is what makes them mean and aggressive. I remember one store I went to, I reached in and pet the ferret, and the little bugger bit me so hard and drew blood. Felt kind of bad for the poor thing, he'll never get adopted out because he was so vicious.

I have 2 ferrets! I love them to death! When we got then my girl, Tria, had a bit of cage rage but she is doing much much better now and nit biting as much unless we are rough playing, but even then she knows not to clamp down! Tria is the prettiest cinnamon ferret alive! And my Izzy boy has the best personality ever! He will follow me like hes a puppy or something and just wants treats all day long! I just bathed them both this weekend they smell great now and there fur is so soft! I wash there laundry as we call it once a week so that the house doesnt get that awful ferret smell like they had when we first got them. They are just wonderful little pets I am glad that we bought them!

awwww good for you! They are sooo cute! I was even considring them when i was allowed to get a new pet but instead i got a pink and white chinchilla! Ferrets are just so cool though but i was nervous cause some of them can be mean but not most ( same with chinchillas ) But i here they are very smart! Well good luck with you little guys!

i used to have a wonderful little demonic sable female ferret that was wild, semi vicious and never endingly getting in trouble.

I was driving home from up north one day, and she crawled up on my shoulder, sat there at bit and then CHOMPED down on my left ear. I screamed and tried to pull away, she fell off my shoulder and hung there like a HUGE earring. I finally shouted and she let go, ran down under my seat and across the console and stepped FULL into a cup of hot hot coffee. She screamed and ran off and hid the whole way home.

another time,I was sound asleep on the floor, and she came up and bit me right on the nose. i sat up in shock and she backed up and chattered at me, like HA HA, teach you to try and sleep around here.

i made a small leash for her and took her everywhere. I was driving my car one day and a guy backed into me, and came over to apologize, leaned in the passenger window and said, hey, cute ferret, and she bit him HARD on the finger, lmao. I laughed and laughed about that one.

I miss that lil brat!

Your ferrets sound adorable. We had 1 for more than 7 years. She was so much fun & loved to play "tag" with 1 of our cats.
I love that little happy dance that ferrets do ;-)

My sister has three ferrets. An albino, a white one with a black stripe, and then a darker one. They are evil!! The white and black one is sweet, but the other two bite and they are theives. They steel everything!!! I would never own one.

ferrets are adorable and very playful and need alot of attention a downside is they take a long time to potty train them so your house might have that notorious ferret smell till they learn to go in their trey-if you arent rough with them when they are babies they wont be viscious!!!!
