Below is a direct quote from the WBTS:

"Jehovah will put all false prophets to shame either by not fulfilling the false predictions of such self-assuming prophets, or by having his own prophecies fulfilled in a way opposite to that predicted by the false prophets." Paradise Restored pp. 353-354

Does a sober consideration of the Society's past evidence an indisputable divine backing? Does a chronological analysis of its leaders' teachings and prophetic pronouncements point incontrovertibly and inescapably to the fact that they have indeed acted as a unique channel of communication between God and man? How does the Watchtower’s 120 years of history as God’s "channel of communication" compare with God’s historic method of communication as evident in the Bible?

http://towerwatch.com Is it time to stop analizing those who point out falsehood and look into the falsehood its self?

Lastly, if the WBTS is not a false prophet, then Who is?

The Watchtower lies and people die!

When I exited the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1992 EVERY Jehovah's Witness around me,was convinced in their heart of hearts that they would NOT see 2007 in "this old system"

Many had NO retirement plans for old age.

The Watchtower lies and people die!

I was born in 1957 3rd generation all my adult elders from the 1960's 99.9% of whom were convinced they would be liberated in 1975 and never see old age are now all dead.
I can remember the assembly floor filled with wheelchairs during those years I have even seen delegates present in iron lungs all those followers had their hopes dashed and they are all dead.My devout JW grandparents, aunts, uncles my mother are all dead!

Watchtower lied and people died.

Anyone who denies 1975 is a liar just like the holocaust deniers of today.
The shot heard around the watchtower world was 1975

Oh what a heretic you are to pretend to be a prophet as Noah was... very bad. A person has to be truely blind not to see through this...

and again a cut paste for a cut and paste to you

Attention Hot -

What a double speak and message you bring to this question.

Here:

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they are infallible or inspired. Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they experience miraculous messages from God or Christ.
=
What exactly does prophet mean (in a limited sense)?
____________________>>>>______...

2. For more than a century, Jehovah's Witnesses have always presented their suppositions as the result of sincere bible research, rather than as "predictions" or "prophesying".
=
Pure unadultrated lie herein this line - the membership may not but the WTB&TS does.
____________________>>>>______...

3. Interestingly, however, even those Christians who did enjoy direct communication from heaven at times came to wrong conclusions; these wrong conclusions were even communicated "out among the brothers"!
=
So you are saying there are those who do have "direct communication"?
Unlike your line(#1) above saying this is not so??
____________________>>>>______...

4. For example, the apostle Peter enjoyed remarkable privileges in the early congregation, but it seems that he was the source of an incorrect teaching about the apostle John that was not formally corrected until several DECADES had passed, and John himself finally wrote his gospel about 98 C.E.

What???? Without something here such as supporting evidence!!
____________________>>>>______...

5. Jehovah's Witnesses apply the term "prophet" only in a very limited sense to themselves as a religion, not to individuals.
=
So this means that the WTB&TS is the "prophet"?
____________________>>>>______...

6. Their self-description as a "prophet" (in this limited sense) does not indicate special inspired knowledge or foreknowledge, ....
=
Who self describes - oh scribe - Not the JWs certainly but seems the WTB&TS does.
____________________>>>>______...

Trash and more trash.

Here is some mark of false religion may perhaps a person may see and get out of what you pretend is truth.

Modus Operandi of a false religion

They intimidate with an attitude of “we know it all”.
Very learned, have studied for many years and others can tell them nothing.
Clever, manipulative speakers.
Manipulate others with their theology.
Manipulate others from out of the position of their leadership.
Manipulate others with spiritual knowledge, experiences and over spirituality.
Confusion (delusion, misleading).
Legalistic and conservative.
Goes to cell-meetings.
Practices “counsel” hopping.
Talkative.
Humiliates, and runs down others, “cuts” with the Word.
Accuses with the purpose to hurt.
Puts the leader or speaker in a bad light.
Rage and fury.
“We are the men, and women must listen what we say” or vice versa.

The organization also contradicts now, what it once said about itself. For example, Charles Russell claimed that his "divine revelation" was given to him by angels. Rutherford continued this claim and also claimed that the, by then, deceased Russell, was also directing the organization from heaven. Later, it was said that the 144k were directing the organization from heaven. They can't keep their story straight.

The organization has always claimed to be the "mouthpiece of Jehovah", and the Governing Body the "faithful and discreet slave class" who are being directed by Jehovah. What does it mean to be a prophet? Scripturally, it is someone who is used by God. Someone who is given divine revelation and the commission to dispense that revelation to God's people. Is this what the WTS has claimed since it's genesis? YES! But, if , in light of all the failed prophecies, you bring Deuteronomy 18:20-22, to their attention, they will flatly deny that they have ever claimed to be a prophet for Jehovah.

Has there ever been a more hypocritical organization? I think not! And this organization denies so many eternal life by enforcing a "works" based salvation that is found no where in Scripture as well as denying the "Great Crowd" from partaking in Communion, when Jesus emphatically says that those who are not partakers in his body and blood have NO LIFE within them. (John 6: 51-54)

The watchtower is lucky we aren't in the Old Testament anymore.

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, THAT PROPHET SHALL DIE.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, IF THE THING DOES NOT HAPPEN OR COME TO PASS, THAT IS THE THING WHICH THE LORD HAS NOT SPOKEN; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him. Deut. 18:20-22

Unsilenced is right. It's time to look into false hood. The question is WHICH is false? The Bible or the watchtower?

The Witnesses make many claims in their attempt to convert you to their faith. They profess to have the only true Christian church, to be the only true representatives of God, to have the only correct biblical teaching, and to be the only true announcers of Jehovah's coming kingdom.
If they are the only true church and are the only true voice of God's word, then what they say should prove to be true, especially in prophecy. When it comes to predicting the future, the Watchtower organization fails miserably. Following are some of the false predictions made over the years by the Watchtower organization. If you present these to a JW, he will probably say something like, "Those are taken out of context," or "They didn't claim to be the prophet of God," or "The light is getting brighter and we are understanding Bible prophecy better now," etc. Make a copy of these false prophecies, found in the appendix, and give it to them to check. They are right out of the Witnesses' literature.
Remember Deut. 18:22, "If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him." If someone makes a false prophecy, and they have claimed to be a prophet of God, then they are false prophets and are not to be listened to.
Do the Witnesses claim to be the prophet of God? Yes, they do.

In 1972 the Jehovah's Witness Watchtower claimed to be the prophet of God.

IDENTIFYING THE "PROPHET" -- "So does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come? These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet?...This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian Witnesses...Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a ‘prophet' of God. It is another thing to prove it." The Watchtower, 4/1/72, p. 197. (See Deut. 18:21)

1897 "Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present, since October 1874," Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 4, page 621.

1899 "...the ‘battle of the great day of God Almighty' (Revelation 16:14), which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced." The Time Is at Hand, page 101 (1908 edition).

1916 "The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th Day, the 1000 years of Christ's Reign, began in 1873." The Time Is at Hand, page ii, (forward).

1918 "Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection." Millions Now Living Will Never Die, page 89.

1922 "The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914." The Watchtower 9/1/22, page 262.

1923 "Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge." The Watchtower, page 106 4/1/23.

1925 "The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year." The Watchtower, 1/1/25, page. 3.

1925 "It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work." The Watchtower, Sept, 1925 page 262.

1926 "Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that the friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything." The Watchtower, page 232.

1931 "There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time...and they also learned to quit fixing dates." Vindication, page 338.

1941 "Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon." The Watchtower, 9/15/41, page 288.

1968 "True, there have been those in times past who predicted an ‘end to the world', even announcing a specific date. Yet nothing happened. The ‘end' did not come. They were guilty of false prophesying. Why? What was missing?.. Missing from such people were God's truths and evidence that he was using and guiding them." Awake, 10/8/68.

1968 "Why are you looking forward to 1975?" The Watchtower, 8/15/68, page 494.

A JW might say that the organization is still learning. If that is so, then how can they trust what they are taught now by the Watchtower? Will what they are being taught now change also?
A true prophet of God won't err in prophesying. Only a false prophet does. The Jehovah's Witness organization, that claims to be a prophet of God, is really a false prophet. Jesus warned us by saying, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible" (Matt. 24:24).

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 Pet. 2:1

And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Jer. 14:14

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2 Cor. 11:13-15

God can't lie. Titus 1:2

Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they are infallible or inspired. Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they experience miraculous messages from God or Christ. For more than a century, Jehovah's Witnesses have always presented their suppositions as the result of sincere bible research, rather than as "predictions" or "prophesying".

Interestingly, however, even those Christians who did enjoy direct communication from heaven at times came to wrong conclusions; these wrong conclusions were even communicated "out among the brothers"!

For example, the apostle Peter enjoyed remarkable privileges in the early congregation, but it seems that he was the source of an incorrect teaching about the apostle John that was not formally corrected until several DECADES had passed, and John himself finally wrote his gospel about 98 C.E.

(John 21:21-23) Peter said to Jesus: “Lord, what will this man do [that is, the apostle John]?” Jesus said to him: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you? You continue following me.” In consequence, this saying went out among the brothers, that [the apostle John] would not die. However, Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you?”

Jehovah's Witnesses apply the term "prophet" only in a very limited sense to themselves as a religion, not to individuals. The Scriptures indicate that whenever Jehovah purposes to execute judgment upon a people, he always makes arrangement for a 'prophet's work' as a warning. Their self-description as a "prophet" (in this limited sense) does not indicate special inspired knowledge or foreknowledge, but their willingness to perform Christ's assigned warning work in our day leading up to Armageddon.

What group is working harder than Jehovah's Witnesses to preach God's message globally (as Noah did before the Deluge)?

(Amos 3:7) For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his servants the prophets.

(2 Peter 2:5) Noah, a preacher of righteousness...

(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Look! She's changed her name again. This person does not want truthful answers. All she does is look for ways to put Jehovah's Witnesses in a bad light.

If she couldn't cut it as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, why doesn't she just get on with her life? These attacks of hers are getting old and tiresome.

She is a very petty person whose only purpose in life is to besmirch JW's. You could see that for yourself if she didn't cowardly hide her questions and answers so you can't see what she is really like.

Danny Haszard is another such character. He says: "The Watchtower lies, and people die."

Maybe someone can ask him how many "Christian" religions discourage young men and women from going to war and ending up in body bags? Ask him how many religions allow their members to smoke tobacco products and end up with lung cancer and die? Ask him how many "Christian" religions speak out against their members from engaging in life-threatening activities like sky diving and car racing?

Ex-witnesses who speak out against their former brothers are a sad case. They want others to be as miserable as they are.

Do you really and honestly want answers to your questions from Jehovah's Witnesses or are you just looking for a fight?

If you are truly wondering these points, please contact the local Jehovah's Witnesses in your area and ask them directly.

If you are just looking for a fight, then I guess Yahoo answers is the correct choice.
