3 of the world's major religions worship one God. God revealed himself to Abraham, God is one, there are no other gods before or after him, his Being is inherent in our nature, we are born with a knowledge of the existence of a creator,
the universe is dualistic, their is good, there is evil, according to the Bible one day God will end it all and start it anew, the end of dualism, the end of alot of things-

OK, I do agree that if there are gods then there is must be more than one. It makes no earthly sense otherwise. I don't necessarily think that there has to be a supernatural entity for someone to believe in it (people believe in Santa but is Santa real?). I feel that we learn ethics within the given constructs of our society. Not all societies behave in the same manner. I do not believe that evil comes from without but comes from within and is 'man made'. HOWEVER, I do agree that we need to move away from monotheism as polytheism seems more reasonable to me. (Buddhist Yogini) Namaste and extremely well thought out question, thank you!

1) Just because everything is here, does NOT mean "someone" put it here.
2) What has ethics to do with existence of god?
3) I have a deep personal relationship with the Tooth Fairy. Does that necessarily mean the Fairy exists?
4)Because there is perceived "evil" in the world does NOT necessarily imply anything more than that some people are evil...
Your entire argument is worthless conjecture.

I doubt anyone who accepts those ridiculous arguments is likely to exercise any logic in deciding how many gods to worship.
Incidentally, if number 3 made any sense then it would essentially disprove monotheism. If an entity must exist for someone to experience a relationship with it, then all gods past and present must exist.

1.Not exactly true! You agree that that something had to be there before us right? So according to your theory something had to create that something but then something else had to the create the something that created that something. Endless loop.
2. Ethics could be the result of evolved human behaviour. After all ethics keep us from falling apart.
3. Many people also hear voices telling them aliens are coming.
4. Yes your right and that entity is the percent of humans that act wrongly.
So basically your whole point is wrong.

This Trinity theory had no longer been an unique one modern in actual Christanity that Jesus Christ (PBUH) delivered for the mankind on the time. it rather is an addition by preachers later on, as Almighty Allah stresses in Holy Qur'an "do no longer talk approximately Trinity" (Wa l. a. taqooloona Salasa). further, the prophethood of Muhammad ibn-Abdullah were precisely reported in unique teachings of the Christ, and his followers were directed to look ahead to his blessed appointment as God's final Messenger on earth, because it became reported for the period of a debate between our prophet and the heads of Christianity at his time, and the Christian archbishops did no longer boost doubts approximately its authenticity. yet this difficulty fixing section, too, became deleted from Christianity texts. Sorry for the long clarification, which i assumed would are available obtainable.

Hi!
There is absolutely 'no' proof for the existance of the 'god' of the bible/qur'an, it 'is' just a belief, a faith!
That the creator, had personal involvment with human beings, to me, is mankinds vanity!!
The ancient past worshipped many gods, polytheism.
Akhenaton, the Egyptian pharoah, then changed the religious view, by turning himself and his country, to belief in only one, omnipient, invisable 'god'!
The power and majesty of this god, could be seen in the 'aton', the sun, but was 'not' worshipped as a god in itself!
(although this 'would' have been nearer to the truth!!)
''Creator of the germ in woman,
Maker of the seed in man,
Giver of breath to animate everyone 'he' maketh!
O, 'sole' god, whose powers no other possesseth.
Thou didst create Earth according to 'thy' heart''.
*(To Akhennaton's 'aton', Egypt, 14th century b.c.e)
You have to remember, Egypt was the worlds superpower at the time, so this move, had a very large influence!!
The 'later to be called' judaic nation, left Egypt, strangely, just after the time of Akhenaton, when the next pharoah, was denouncing that religion and was resurrecting the old gods!
They took with them, the 'idea' of the 'one god' principle!
However, at first, they did not adhere to it, evidence remains that they had alters for two 'gods', yahweh and his female consort!
*(This was probably taken from the Egyptian - Osiris/Isis belief!)
The belief that there is only one god, stems from these origins, it is man-made, an attempt to justify, that mankind has a special relationship with a creator!
Obviously, there is 'no' proof of there being 'one god' and there is 'no' proof of the religious christian/judaic/islamic 'god' at all!
Is there a 'creator' or 'creators'?
We just do not know this, it is something that our minds try to calculate but is beyond our comprehension, although we think we are great and powerful, we are still very small, in this great universe!
Although, the universe does seem to be mathematical, this does point to inteligence/s at work!!
There is one thing for sure, we 'do not' know for sure, any single person or set of people, ie: religion, that claims to 'know' the 'truth', are simply deluded!!!
Note:
I have noticed a thumbs down already, obviously someone who, doesnt want to believe their religion's beginnings, who thinks, that they 'do' know, how everything came into existence!?
So, obviously deluded!!!

2 is obviously wrong, because morals and ethics are subjective. 1, 3 and 4 could all be aspects of a single character, it's just that a creator deity cannot possibly exist, so its characteristics are a moot point.

Monotheism is a positive step in a way - many people were polytheist until we started to learn about reason and science. As we learn more we will progress towards atheism. 5...4...3...2...1 ... atheism! Until then, be happy in your beliefs and respect others.

You are philosophising a matter of faith - such things do not have tangible answers, they only have what you feel or believe. You might as well ask the following unanswerable question - If God created the universe, what created God?; Please be careful, this stuff can make your head hurt, so instead, go with the heart.
