A friend of mine that just got out of the navy and was wondering how to get ahold of her certified cpr card and the college credits she earned in A-School. She got out on a ELS admin discharge from the navy and wants to get the credits she got while she was in.

They can just go to Navy college office website and click on SMART Transcript. From there they can get copies of all training and education that might give college credit.

I'm trying to remember the form number. It's a page out of her service record that you use to fill out a form. My tap class book may still be at the house if I look. Anyhow, you fill in the form with the code number for the various military training courses etc. that she took and you submit that to your college to see what they accept for transfer credit. Any college credits earned are only good if the school you want to go to will accept them. The better the school the less likely they will accept other schools (or military training) credits. University of Texas gave me 0 credits for Naval Nuclear Power Training.

The first step is to get the SMART transcript as advised above. However, she has to be currently enrolled in college in order to transfer the credits.
