You'll get used to it eventually... but only if you accept there's no time for any kind of life outside of work.
I did 12 hour shifts for a while and could only do it if I got in from work, had food and a wash, and then straight to bed.
In the end I decided I liked having a life of my own more than lots of money!!

I wonder if you are very young? As you get older you get more stamina. But a 12 and half hour shift is very long if you are doing a 5 day week, especially if you have travelling to and from work too. Maybe you should just start looking around for another job.

That is a very long work day, Karen. I'm not surprised that you are exhausted.
If you can, try to get a good solid breakfast: You need the energy. And pack a good lunch. One of those Coleman-cooler lunch boxes is great for that. You might even want to pack a couple of extra sports or energy drinks for a quick boost if you start to lag before break time.
Meanwhile, try to get a little light exercise and plenty of rest.
Good luck!

WOW - 12.5 hour shifts are tedious! What kind of work do you do?
Whatever it is that you do - try using your breaktime to stretch and move around. Repetitive motion will make your body tired (not to mention your mind) and stretching and other exercise will help revive you!
Be sure your lunch is full of protein and not carbs, too.

that's a long time to work. are you working too many shifts- not enough breaks- not eating properly- try porridge-
are you elderly or young and burning candle at both ends? what does your GP think of your tiredness?
look to your general health and lifestyle to know if you are suitable for the job.
