that hateful thing...he knows he is pretty...he knows i want to hug him cause he is soooo pretty and fluffy...but our relationship, totally on his terms and conditions...he uses me in order to get to sleep on my bed...for the past two weeks he has basically ignored my presence, unless it was feeding time...and i was dealing with it...this morning i was just doing what he wanted, and move pass him when he decided to be nice to me...and we hugged for almost 10 minutes (i was looking at the clock)...it was so nice

why is my cat controlling me? why do i keep falling for his tricks? i think they are alien who are taking over

My pepper is also spoiled. She sits on a cabinet by the kitchen door, if you don't stop to pet her, she'll reach out & paw you because you ignored her.
The cutest thing she does is to beg for a treat up on her hindlegs & front paws reaching for the sky. You can ask her what she wants, if she sticks her tongue out, it's a treat; but if she sits down, it's a back rub!

The cats I've had have all been hunters, so we've had a professional relationship. One named Calvin was a mush though. He had to sleep next to me. He liked when I picked him up and carried him around. He was an okay hunter, but had a belly that dragged on the ground.

Most of my cats tried to take on things too powerful for them. Smokey jumped out of a moving truck (he was the best hunter), Mueller got in a fight with a racoon, Calvin got partially eaten by a coyote, Marley and Madeline became incontinent so they had to go. I currently have no pets. It is very stress relieving not to have any pets.

My Madeline is like that. She will completely ignore me unless I'm feeding her, changing her water or giving her a treat. Otherwise, she'll not want to be bothered with me. Every now and then, she likes to use me as her target for "pounce practice". Once she gets a good grip, she bites.

I'm sure it's all done in love. lol.

Cats live on their own terms. That's why they think they're a higher being. No doubt some cats think they are smarter than their owners and some cats are more dominant than their owners. The only question is whether you think it's worth it or not. In most cases, yeah, it's worth it. Let him think what he wants. I'm the one buying the cat food. "Oh, so you only want to eat salmon. Well you can take turkey and like it."

Yeah, my kitty seeks affection from me all the time but when I want to cuddle with her she becomes a huge *****. Just like your cat, she knows I'll never be able to resist how cute she is.

P.S. I love the name Mr. Popo!

My house is owned and operated
solely for the comfort of two cats.
Both of whom are very fickle and
stand-offish.
But I love 'em.
