There is a belief that your own bedroom is private and that your parents should not enter or interfere there, untidy or not. That is unless you are leaving scraps in there and attracting vermin, in which case you are affecting the rest of the household. Perhaps you could make a deal with your mother that, if she leaves you to your privacy in your bedroom, you will do the other chores that she assigns you without complaint. Don't demand, negotiate.

If you develop habits of keeping things clean and helping around the house, eventually there will be no need for her to tell you because they will already be done. Go one step ahead of her. In my days we had to do our chores around the house so that we could play and go out. We live in a household and once we are old enough we also need to start cleaning up after ourselves. The house doesn't keep itself clean, there is always someone that is doing it. I live in a household of 4 and my 2 year old does probably a bit more then my teen. She picks up some of her stuff, helps clean after her spills and sometimes takes stuff to the garbage or sink... These habits will be very useful to you once you are on your own so it won't hit you that hard in your own place. It will also be a good impression on people who go to your place and it will also reflect on the way you organize yourself...
Don't talk back, have you tried to listen to your tone of voice? She is taking it wrong. Tell her that it already has been done or that is the next thing on the list. Good luck!

As her to write down which chore she wants done first then do it in that order, that way when she says why arent you doing the other say i cant be in two places at once you gave me the list in order and im doing it in order-if she still hassles you then explain you only have two hands and tell her " excuse me while i go cut my self in half!" good luck!

set up a routine for yourself to do a little everyday so that everything is done. so then she can't complain or tell you to clean because it is already done!
keep ahead of the game.
