No its not. It is Islam which is a simplified version of Judaism and Christianity. There are many mysteries in the Christian faith which are difficult to appreciate so I would not say it is a watered down version of Judaism. In fact, Judaism is easier to understand than Christianity.
Peace and blessings!

christianity belives in some things completely alien and contrary to Judaism though.
Judaism is NOT just christianity without jesus... theres some huge fundamental differences, like in Judaism theres no "devil" or eternal hell.
the Messiah of Judaism is NOT who christians believe it to be. I mean that even if there was no dispute about the things jesus did, and all that... who that describes, is clearly not the same person as the Jewish Messiah. its like if you called a plumber and an electrician showed up, didn't fix the things you needed fixed, and messed with stuff that didn't need fixing, resulting in a bunch of new problems they had to fix. that if they never were there, they wouldn't have been needed to fix it.

No, Islam is a watered down version of Judaism. Christianity barely has any Judaism in it, it is mostly Greek, Mithra and manism

expensive think of, FYI, the Qur'an is somewhat documented as a Papal Conspiracy to regulate the Barbarian hundreds, subsequently it relatively is resemblance to The Holy Bible. in accordance to aspects, the Qur'an became presented to 'Muhammad' with the aid of the parental cousin( 'Waraka ibn Nawfal' ), of his first spouse 'Kadijah'. Waraka became a Catholic priest residing in Mecca, and guy or woman who had made focused study of the Gospels and the previous testomony scriptures. Waraka became the 1st to known Muhammad's call to prophecy as real and islamic custom recounts Waraka announcing: "There has come to him the terrific regulation that got here to Moses; certainly he's the prophet of this human beings". What the persons did no longer be conscious of, became that Waraka were covertly recruited with the aid of Jesuit priests to modern-day the Barbarians with their own faith with the aid of Muhammad, with a proviso that the Papacy stay Sovereign. inspite of the shown fact that, after the dying of Muhammad the Barbarians refused to recognize this contract, and the Papacy reacted with speedy vengeance with the aid of the campaign Wars, which claimed the lives of thousands and thousands. background helps this checklist of genocide with the aid of those so-referred to as Christians, who committed those attrocities against an harmless race. "Christians" they might have referred to as themselves, yet in spite of if or no longer they have been followers of CHRIST or no longer is for background to make certain!

Jesus and his disciples were originally Jews....
Jesus decided that some old Jewish stuff just didn't work out so well and wanted to change it. He told this to his disciples.
They didn't get it.... but they somehow figured they did.
After Jesus died, the disciples decided to go totally overboard spreading their personal (messed up) interpretation of Jesus's teachings all over the place.
So.... less a watered down version of Judaism.... as a raped and violated version of it.

That is part of our history, but we accept Jesus as the messiah, our Lord and savior, and the Jews don't.
