Just don't tie the shoe on that foot tight and only wear white socks. Take off the shoe and sock as often as you can and make sure you keep it clean. It should heal up just fine then.

As for a tattoo sites, I personally like:

I got both feet tattooed a few months back and wore shoes and socks whenever I needed too. Just took them off as soon as I could and kept the tattoo clean, used lotion (I use bepanthen) to make sure it didn't dry out. It healed exactly the same as all my other tattooes and looks perfect. If you take care of it you should be fine. If you're worried, ask your artist what he/she thinks.

i didn't wear shoes on either of my tattooed feet for the entire two weeks needed for healing. i have seen pictures of tattoos that look odd after having worn shoes and socks. maybe it didn't have anything to do with that... but maybe it did. i wouldn't risk it but it's your tattoo.

You should be able to wear shoes with it. Just dont tie them very tight. But call the tattoo place and ask them what they say.
