Doesn't the bible say: God never dies?

If he didn't... how can you then claim that God himself was the sacrifice? The sacrifice should die.

Jesus was a man. Men die. Jesus was God.

Jesus died so that you and I could live with God in Heaven.

I have never understood this. As you mentioned, the Bible plainly teaches that God cannot die. It is literally impossible for God to die. He has always existed and He always will. And this teaching is not qualified. In other words, nowhere does it say or even hint that God can die as long as he is in human flesh.

Having said that, Jesus clearly died. So it escapes me how some people feel that Jesus was God in the flesh and died that way. Moreover, it escapes me how people feel that God, God Almighty, the Creator of the Universe actually died for man. That would be a direct violation of his own justice. And so much more.

The answer to your question is no God did not die on a cross. God did not die. A man died so that men might live.

The third part of the trinity did, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father, Jehovah and the Holy Spirit have never died. Jesus when he took on human flesh died on the cross. Jesus was human on the mothers side and god on the Fathers side.

Trinitarians will say Jesus is not God but a man-God.

However, Phil 2:7 says Jesus "emptied himself" of divinity and was fashion as a man (V.8). Rather then a god-man; demigod; or materialized archangel.

Therefore it could be said he was "made a little lower than the angels." - Heb 2:9

Trinitarians will then use Col 2:9 to say Jesus is a man with god inside him.

"For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete."

Naturally, the Trinitarian is disposed to jump to the unthinking conclusion that Jesus is God because he is filled with the same divine quality which God also possesses. But, the verse also says that Christians are filled or made complete by Christ. (Col 2:10)

Using the same illogic, Trinitarians would have to suppose that anointed Christians are also God, since they are also filled with the same quality—or person, depending on how literal you wish to take the expression.

It should be obvious, that the verse is merely saying that Jehovah lived vicariously through Christ, in that Christ completely reflected God's personality and qualities. That is in harmony with many other verses that describe Jesus as being made in God's image and being his exact representation and reflection.

Jesus was a man on earth but Gods blood was flowing in His veins. His body died but His Spirit lives forever. In the bible when It was said For God so loved the world He gave His only Son so whosoever believes in Him shall not DIE but have everlasting life.Die means to be spiritual separated from God.To have everlasting life means you will spiritually live with God.Jesus is life.To be away from Him means death.Your dead inside. You have no life in you.You have no Jesus in you.You are in the dark, not the light. Why do you think the old saying goes (THE DEAD OF THE NIGHT)

Jesus Christ, true God and true man, second person of God the Holy Trinity died on the cross, so yes. However, God the Father along with God the Holy Spirit, who are the first and third persons in the Holy Trinity did not.

The whole subject of the Holy Trinity is hard to explain... but the answer to your question is yes.

The sacrifice did die - physically. However, God is a spirit. Jesus' death was only physical and even then only for three days. God cannot die.

This is why people refer to Jesus' life and death as "the mystery of the incarnation." We don't exactly understand how it is possible with our limited human understanding, but we are sure that it did happen.

Jesus is true God, and true man, subject to death, but giver of life...lived for thirty three years, but is essentially eternal. Do I understand it? No. But basically it comes down to trusting God, in that God cannot testify to a lie. Jesus worked miracles by calling on the unseen God to testify as proof of the doctrine that Jesus is God... therefore He is, no matter how hard it is to understand.

Hope this helps

Christ is one divine person in *both* a human and a divine nature.

The divine nature is immutable whereas the human nature is not.

He died in the manifestation of His human nature, although it is still God that died, since Jesus is one person who is God and not two (for example, He is not the human Jesus with God the Son dwelling in Him).

His crucifixion was necessary, as that is the only way to ultimately defeat evil, to for a time submit to its power, and then when that is done, one has power over that evil.

To defeat evil in our lives and in the world, we must all follow Jesus in His crucifixion in being allowed for a time to be in the power of evil, and then with the particular resurrection that follows, we become conquerors of that evil.

Jesus suffered His Passion to enable us to do so in the way that we are called to - As our intellect is some participation in His infinite intellect, as our love is some participation in His infinite love, Jesus died and rose so that our dying and rising would be some participation in His, allowing us to share in the defeat of evil.

Trinity. Jesus died on the cross, not God. If you figure out the Trinity, let me know.

have u ever heard God the creator part of so called holy trinity dead.. let see what holy books want to say

Both the Noble Quran and the Bible claim that GOD Almighty is an Absolute One and only One:

"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (The Noble Quran, 112:1-4)"

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4)"

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. (From the NIV Bible, Mark 12:29)"

Notice also how Jesus said "our God", which included him to be under GOD Almighty's creation and Divine Authority, and not someone or an entity that is equal to GOD Almighty.

The Bible's New Testament also records Jesus saying: ""Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good–except God alone." (From the NIV Bible, Mark 10:18)"

If Jesus doesn't consider himself as "good", then how can any sane person put him on the same level as GOD Almighty?

I have yet to see a good answer to this one by any polytheist trinitarian.

The New Testament confirms the Apocalypse (Revelation in Greek) of Peter which claims that Jesus never died on the cross!
First of all, it is important to know that according to the New Testament itself, all of Jesus' Disciples fled for their lives on the night of crucifixion. None of them witnessed Jesus' crucifixion except for one, that is Saint Peter! He was the lone and only witness of the actual crucifixion event. Let us look at what the Bible's New Testament says:

Matthew 26:34-35, 55-57, 69-75
34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the **** crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
.......
55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.
71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the **** crew.
75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the **** crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Now as we clearly see, Peter did witness the so-called crucifixion event. He was present there. The only thing that saved him from death is his denial that he knew Jesus. Otherwise, he would've got crucified that night.

Jesus is the son of God...Jesus was the Sacrifice..not GOD

1 Corinthians 15:28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
John 14:28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said,‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
John 5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”
Revelation 1:5-6 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
