Do you seek it or expect it?

After both of our parents had passed my brother, being the MAN and the executor, decided that the will would be ignored until it suited him.
After ignoring me for 4 years, I finally had to have a lawyer contact him to finalize the estate. It is so sad when the settlement of a will causes the split in a family. What a loss for all family members....Likewise, one cannot seek or expect respect...from a sibling! Money changes everything that seemed based on love.

It depends on the age of the siblings. All siblings should respect each other as family. Of course, younger children do not understand this.

Rarely do siblings approve of the things that the others do. Your brothers and sisters always think that they could live your life better than you can. This is just part of having siblings. And, sisters are far worse!

I'm an only child so I don't know first hand but most people I know don't seek or expect approval from their siblings. What they expect is loyalty.

They're family, they don't necessarily have to like what you do but they're supposed to stick by you anyway.

You must both seek and then expect it... Approval or respect is something that must Not be expected without gaining them first. But it is also important to have one's sibling's approval... otherwise life might not be such a fun place... :)

My brothers are younger than I am. I don't expect them (or seek for them) to give me their approval and vice versa.

As far as respect goes, I think that everyone in a family must show respect for the other family members. We don't always have to agree with them, but they are our family and they deserve respect.

hye..
do i seek or i expect for that?
not at all.....

i believe everybody has their own free will. everybody has the right to do what they believed. And as for me, i dont seek or expect their respect and approval. it is just whether they want to share something with me or not. If they asking, i will answer them the best i can. if they dont ask me, its fine with me. Bcoz i believe everybody has chances to learn about their mistake and to learn what they should do or should not do. when they feel it is a must to ask your opinion, thats mean they already know what they should do when they have a problem for example. Just asking for help is the way....

Which Denomination of Christianity is maximum appropriate to the sort of Christianity in the Bible? -there isn't any in a manner because of the fact Christianity grew to become into around then yet no longer via the call and it wasn't till 60 years after Christ lived that the present Bible grew to become into pieced jointly from letters and books written(the hot testomony) 3 . Are you extra non secular (liturgical/sacramental) or non secular - that's extra substantial and why? i attempt to be the two besides the incontrovertible fact that non secular could properly be incorrect if in the incorrect palms and neither one are extra substantial back before Jesus got here and the holy Ghost there grew to become into basically God the Deity and that they have got been all one besides the incontrovertible fact that while Adam and Eve ate of the tree of information of reliable and Evil they have been separated and be attentive to that we've God, the Holy Ghost, and Christ they're as quickly as back all of the comparable while you're saved and enable God into your physique. _-_-God Bless-_-_

MY SIBLINGS ARE BORN BEHIND ME
I DONT LOOK OR SEEK THEIR APPROVAL AND I WOULD NEVER ASK THEM WORRY FOR MY APPROVAL. I WOULD GIVE THEM MY LIFE'S JOURNEY ADVICE BUT THATS ALL. I THINK I SEEK AND WANT MY PARENT'S APPROVALS.

My brother and I love each other and do not feel the need to gain or give approval.
We're adults now.

:):) I'm the baby of the family; the six of us are rather spaced apart. I basically grew up by myself, you really think that I need their approval now? Where were they when I needed them? :):)
