i have this girl in my neighbourhood whom i got to know recently. i like her very much. we ended up talking and i managed to get her mobile number too. i asked her if there was any problem if i sms or contacted her. she said she has no problem of the sort and that i could sms her anytime. she studies in a college and i in a university. so our timings are different, but i thought sms was the key. i could still be in touch with her. The problem now begins....i sms her whenver i can to know how she is doing, but she never replied to my sms. i got worried and i met her again. asked her if she was ok with me and my sms. was i disturbing her? she said its nothing of the sort. that it was OK to send her sms and that she was fine with me. But why the hell then she is not replying to my sms?!!! what should i do?

I'm in the same situation and I can probably answer your's and my own question. Well, just assume she's not interested and you'll sleep better. Like many have said, she's trying to be polite and don't know how to turn you down.
Just leave her for a while and stop messaging her. If she does send you a message on her own then you have a chance. If not, just move on.
I stopped talking to the girl I like for more than 3 weeks and I told her I was an idiot for ignoring her. She said I wasn't an idiot, but just annoyed because she doesn't reply my messages. Just this morning, she sent me an email on her own to say good morning.
Whatever you do, don't pressure her and just be casual with what you say to her.

What do you know about her? maybe she's not liking the messeges because she just got out of a bad relationship, doesn't want to get into anything. Remember this. Women very often say one thing to hide another, and spare someones feelings. No matter how much you pry, they may never get out what they are actually thinking. There could be alot of reasons for it, really, but try sending them a little less often, and keep the subject light.

Real women like men you are mature enough to be straight with them, I know! So just ask out for coffee and look her in the eye and ask her. Pay close attention to her words but... watch her eyes (these are the window to her soul) and her body language. But remember to ask her to be honest with you because you can handle it.

Neither does she give it time. Stop until she gets in touch with you. Maybe she is one of those girls that just wants attention from guys and can't say no or maybe she is just being nice or polite and can't say that she is not interested.
She knows you're interested if she is you'll hear from her.

Hallo Mr.lonely. Well maybe she don't like sms you better call her if you want to know if she is okey. Texting is not so appropriate to ask a girl especially if you like her. Sometimes texting is so deceiving. i hope you are okey now...

She was just being polite. Can't you take a hint. Quit bothering her. If she is interested, she will get back with you.
