Ok so you must know something the rest of the US doesnt. Since when did the figure reach 200,000 ak's missing? It was 190,000, and they arent missing, they were having a hard time tracking down the paper trail. But you somehow know more about this than anyone else, stating the opposing militias have the weapons. Cause you were there and saw them take the weapons right? Also those AK's didnt belong to the US, they were purchased by the Iraqi governement for the Iraqi security forces. The US just helped procure the weapons and distribute them since there was no system in place to do so from Iraq. I would like to know how you come to the conclusion that Americans are being killed by militias carrying US weapons? They arent. You are talking out of your as* on this, you are only going off of facts that the media has supplied you, which are wrong because the media is a bunch of liars and only tell half the story. The groups of soldiers are being killed by IED's that are supplied by Iran. Lets not forget the numerous weapons caches that are all over that country. Do you think that we gave them all their guns to fight us with? Do you think that they were weaponless before the US showed up? Not hardly. They have had weapons way longer than we have been there. You need to really get some facts straight on this, because what you are saying has a lot of inconsistancies in it. Much like the news. But thats not your fault, you are only relaying the information that was given to you. But what is your fault is that you believe everything you read.

it just might have something to do with the military preferring to say "we lost them" instead of saying "we gave weapons to people we trust so that they can defend themselves - regardless of any dumb rules the politicians in Congress can establish"
just think- you say "the US is actively encouraging the civil war that is brewing in Iraq by arming rival groups" but somehow you do not question where the other side gets their weapons...?
And BTW- it's not a civil war. It's a foreign intervention- by Syria and Iran

b/c, the enemy of our enemy is our friend, corny i know. We supply the insurgents with weapons b/c they don't like Al Queda. So if we arm the insurgents they will fight the Al Queda (their enemy as well).
