file an amended return with converting the egypt currency into US $ equivalent. Explain in the description section why you are amending the return. Your explanation would be very reasonable. I am also including a link to foreign income exclusion because you are working out of the us you may be able to exempt some of your foreign income.

Are you saying that you showed your income in the wrong currency? If so, just file an amended return and correct it.

You should file an amended return, showing the amounts properly in US dollars.
