I think I have hayfever. For the last 2 weeks or so I've been waking up really exhausted even though I'm getting the normal amount of sleep I normally have. It's a real struggle getting out of bed. My eyes are puffy & swollen every morning. I think when this happened to me a few years ago, I was given antihistamine... Any suggestions/advice please?

If it gets worst you should really seek some help. Go to your family doctor. thats the only way you will know what is wrong with you. I am sure after you find out you will feel mush better knowing so. =)

My advice is start taking a teaspoon of local honey each day. It will help your body develop immunities to the allergies you have. It will stop you from having the swollen eyes in the morning. Don't take something like antihistamines to dry up the congestion. It will cake in your sinuses and you will develop an infection over time. Local honey is a natural resource used forever to keep people healthy. It has no side effects. As with all herbal remedies, it will take a while to go into effect. You will gradually see that your symptoms are gone and you will also notice that you don't get too many colds or flu symptoms either.

I would see your primary physician first, see what he says. He may send you to an allergist, or, treat you himself if he feels confident.
Steroids, antihistamines and other drugs are necessary to help the body through seasonal problems like allergy highs in the weather. Then knowing what to do the next time helps, you can help yourself once you know what the problem is.
