There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

hmmm, just the thought that youve got herpes means that you should stop having sex. maybe its about time for you to realize your actions and act responsibly. If you really like the girl then you have to resolve your problem so as to not spread the disease. even if you use a condom, that does not guarantee that you are safe from spreading the disease. and when you're in the situation, you do not know what will happen next.
what if the same thing happens to you and you're clean?

You just have to be honest... it's a hard talk though, I do not envy you.
Edit: Okay, for the people saying don't tell, if you knowingly have the virus and she gets it and you never told her It's jail time. Condoms are not that effective on herpes, you have to be on medication if you're sexually active AND use condoms. And she needs to know so she doesn't go down on you, since genital herpes IS transferable to oral.

omg. you should have told her since the beginning
dont wait until she finds out by someone else . cause that can be really worse.. remember this is not your life your putting in danger . If you really love her and care about her you will tell her the truth..
another thing CONDOMS dont protect you from passing herpes. aids, or other things...
it doesnt even protect you 100% from getting pregnant ..

Be honest with her, if you have sex with her (even after you use a condom) and she finds out...all hell will rain down on you, courtesy of her and the millions of others she may tell.
