It is claimed that Hitler was Catholic, he had a heart that loved, but turned into a monster, because his appetite for power consumed him. I do not believe that it matters what religion you adher to, or if Hitler actually believed in it simply because he was raised in it. Thoughout history people have done things in the name of religion, good and bad. I am not Christian, but I realize that religion does not make you change. The flaw is in the human being. You grow into who you will become. If it was simply religion that made people better, then why are there good and bad in every religious group. I do not think it matters what religion Hitler belonged to, it is very clear he was not a good person.

I think you have the answer. A guilt by association and an ad hominum attack.
Yes Hitler was a Christian but that matters less than the fact that the Nazis were a Christian movement party. They started out as Socialist but were very quickly taken over by religious interests concerned with 'morality' and 'law and order'.

i'm not sure how many study the full question. I do be conscious it relatively is a difficulty-unfastened tactic to declare Hitler believed in spite of to examine in spite of argument is being made, like "Hitler became an atheist, subsequently all atheists are undesirable". to no longer point out it form of feels quite foolishly to decide an entire team of persons based on the movements of one. permit's purely say for the sake of argument, Hitler somewhat became an atheist. Why might that computerized make all different atheists undesirable? how many atheists obtainable might ever desire to do something even remotely close in any respect to what Hitler did? it relatively is motives like that i think the full argument falls aside. to no longer point out the charm to authority argument. If we've been assume to stay with that argument, each and every physique may be a Jew with the aid of fact Einstein became.

actually, he was raised Jewish and claimed catholocism as he grew older, so analyze that little nugget!
face it, Hitler is the best example of Evil that everyone will agree on. so it's the best spear campaign ever. if I could prove that Dick Cheney and hitler were school buddies, would he get many votes? no way. people like to do the same thing with religions and countires and races. Canada gave us Celine Dion so they are bad, Certin Religion gave us Hitler so they suck and want to kill everyone, etc etc etc.
association is just fun like that.

No one knows for sure and no one should care too much. Argumentum ad Hitlerum is very popular these days and is incredibly stupid. He was somewhat of a vegetarian and he liked dogs, but that does not mean that all vegetarians and dog owners are evil. It's just ridiculous reasoning.

nominally he was an atheist, but anyone who has read any of his work can see that even in mein kampf, he was using religious imagery, and the holocaust could only have taken place with the help of centuries and centuries of christian-based anti semitism. one nazi agency was set up in order to prove that the aryan race did not evolve with the rest of humanity, but instead was frozen in ice in heaven and was delivered from heaven to earth

He claimed to be Christian--Catholic if I am not mistaken.
Hitler epitomized all that we consider evil, so nobody really wants him on their side... that's the only reason that anyone argues about which he was--to get rid of him.
Too bad Gandhi was a Hindu--we could have used a few of him on our side. At least we have Mother Teresa.

Most of his words about religion were through the use of the word "Providence", which was also used by George Washington a lot. His speeches were often about how Providence was bound to Germany and how the will of Germany was the will of God and such. He was a madman. Most madmen tend to think they are God or divine or appointed by God.
